Angles are everything. Often when I find a perfect canvas to shoot from, a lot of the times when I shoot, I tend to miss the perfect angle. Working to perfect my angle ever day.. journey on. #branding#filmphotography#philly
Pt. 2 of day two in Philadelphia. Another photo dump of the Italian market. The 12Steps bar did really take twelve steps. The coffee shop I wandered into was super snazzy with their table top art and quilts hanging on the walls. One surprising thing was how theres a banner that still says "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year".

Modesty is liberating!
Fashion Bio-Sew Elevated
All her life Dr. Nicole Muhammad has been interested in fashion but it wasn’t until 2010, when she joined the Nation Of Islam, that she recognized a path for herself in the industry. Her total disappointment with the lack of variety and innovation in the designs of today’s modest women’s wear, propelled her to be the solution.
In 2018, equipped with sewing skills and a ‘do for self’ attitude, Dr. Nicole Muhammad established Sew Elevated. She started designing and constructing garments for herself and others. And in addition to custom garments, Sew Elevated provides carefully curated fashion forward styles for the fabulously modest woman. All fabrics and garments are painstakingly sourced to ensure the most distinguished style. With great feedback from clientele, Sew Elevated expanded in one short year and is excited to venture into ready-to-wear collections. Dr. Nicole intends to secure Sew Elevated as the premier fashion destination for the dignified woman who refuses to sacrifice style in her modesty.
Beyond adorning women with physical garments, Sew Elevated seeks to elevate the thinking of the woman and those around her. As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Nicole knows the power that our dress can have on our mind, emotions, behaviors and the behaviors of others. As a result of her work in the black community, she was honored to receive a United Nations Muhammad Ali Global Peace Initiative Women of Impact Award in January 2019. Dr. Nicole views such an honor as motivation to continue to positively influence others through their thinking and dress. She is a proud wife and mother who wants her work to be an example at home and globally.
Dr. Nicole holds a bachelor's degree from
Hampton University, a Master's degree from Norfolk State University and a doctorate from Eastern Virginia Medical School.
