Check Out Our 2 Part Series On The 8 No-Cost Ways To Improve Your AC Efficiency💸 💰
1. Clean Around Outdoor Condenser Unit - Your outdoor unit will work most efficiently if it is clean & clear of debris. It prevents from the air flow through your home to be blocked by any sort of debris.
2. Vacuum Indoor Vents & Keep Vents Unblocked - You can vacuum dust & any debris away from indoor supply vents to help maintain steady airflow from your system. Also, keep items like blinds, furniture and toys away from blocking the vents.
3. Adjust Your Thermostat - Typically, adjusting temperatures 5 – 8 degrees (down in winter, up in summer) can help save money and energy. With a programmable thermostat, you can automatically adjust the temperature for different times of the day or during times you are going to be away from home for several hours.
4. Keep Lamps & Other Heat Producing Appliances Away From Your Thermostat - Having heat producing appliances near your thermostat will tell it that the air in your home needs to be cooled more, causing the system to run longer and work harder than it may need to.

Some #mondaymotivation on a Thursday! Huge thanks to Ampt Ambassador @miissmaryyy for the reminder to find balance and know that everyone has their own struggles! Take the time to reflect and focus on what’s important for you, set some goals and have fun! #amptoutdoors#amptclimbing “Rest yo self before you wreck yo self. Another one of the endless lessons climbing has brought out in full color. Recently I’ve experienced some mild feelings of burnout, mentally and physically. Taking a week off of climbing has given me some free time to reflect on why I choose to spend so much time and energy(hard to come by these days) doing it. It can be physically and mentally exhausting, and this time has helped me realize it’s time to take a hard look at my weaknesses (mental and physical) and start looking for ways I can improve. I found myself having loads of negative self talk running through my head while climbing inside and outside, contributing these thoughts to the lack of training and fitness I’ve put in recently. If you want to progress in your journey you gotta put in the work. It’s also helpful to remember that everyone struggles, regardless of their experience or level. I’m constantly inspired and motivated by all these strong athletes who find the time to fit in training to their busy lives while still crushing it at work and in school, makes me stoked to come back mentally and physically rested so I can continue to enjoy this one of a kind sport 💕 On another note, check out those snowflakes” ❄️ 📸: @5.9Berny
This is one serious throwback... 11 years ago today, I moved to California to join @americorps. (Shout out to @duvallbelcher for dropping off this freaked out kid.) I was 22 and had just graduated from Ohio State. I moved with only 2 suitcases and knew no one in Southern California. Throw into the mix, I had to survive off a $10,000 living stipend for the next year.
These pictures remind me of how important that time was to me. I made it through my year of service and went on to work with abused and neglected children in Riverside County for 2 and a half years. The struggle was real, but I came out stronger, more independent, driven, ridiculously broke, and willing to try just about anything. (...like selling all my stuff in 2012 and moving to Greenville - a city I had never been to.) Also - hey, @tanyatorno and @envibri I miss you all dearly.
