Does anyone else find it hard losing the postpartum baby weight? 
Well let me tell you, RUNNING played a huge roll but it was not just all about the exercise. There is more to losing the weight.

1. What I ate daily: Lower Carb Diet and High Protein. 
I remained strict to this diet throughout the week except on Friday, I would carb load the night before a long run. Just comment if you want to know what I ate.

2. Make your Daily Steps Count!
For me, my goal was to try and get to 10,000-20,000 steps a day. Nowadays, we all have smart watches or some kind of fitness watch that can help us be accountable. This is fun and it doesn’t necessarily mean you have to run. Just keep moving because it’s a great challenge!

3. One Hour of Cardio and/or Circuit of Exercises.
Cardio is so good to strengthening the cardiovascular system. Running helped me tremendously as well as build my muscle tone. But I do have plenty of loose skin & stretch marks & cellulite like every human being. IT’S NORMAL! For those starting out, go for two 30 min walks with the stroller. When I first started out I would do an easy run in the morning & then after dinner I would take the boys out after bath for an evening stroll which would wind them down before bed. We now walk to see all the Christmas lights. As for exercises I did planks, body weight circuits, stability ball, band work, and treadmill circuits. Doing more now consistently!

4. Stopped Snacking at Night.
This was huge for me. I would allow myself to have one last snack before 7pm (last breast feeding). Brushing your teeth & getting in to bed early helps!

5. HYDRATE with Water & Breastfeeding. 
Sure, breastfeeding helps you to drop the weight in the beginning due to all the calories being burned. It helped with my first but not for my second. I am one month official done with breastfeeding & apparently I had been holding on to 5lbs! I feel so much better. Other than that WATER! Keep filling up your container! I even stopped drinking seltzer carbonated drinks and I saw a difference in my stomach!

  • Hari itu, aku bangga sekali sama diriku sendiri. Bukan hal yang mudah buatku, untuk berdiri on stage, performing about my capabilities. Aku ga pernah nyaman jadi sorotan orang lain, apalagi orang orang yang aku ga kenal. Catwalk dan public speaking adalah satu hal yang selalu aku hindari. Aku suka jadi model, tapi fotomodel, bukan model untuk catwalk begitu. Untuk jadi fotomodel pun, aku liat liat orangnya, kalo fotografernya aku ga akrab, mampus, kaku semua posenya.

Dari aku kecil stage adalah musuh terbesarku. Dulu waktu aku kecil, orangtuaku ngasi aku les vocal. Aku doyan nyanyi, sampe beberapa kali orangtuaku bahkan pelatih vocalku mendaftarkan aku festival nyanyi. Pas latihan, aku enjoy, aku bisa menerapkan semua teknik dan pengajaran dengan baik, begitu on stage, ada aja kelakuanku yang di luar skenario. Yang nangis tiba tiba di atas panggung, yang salah tarik kunci lah, yang nadanya falls lah, yang suara jadi ada vibranya karna gemetar dan itu bikin aku selalu khawatir kalo harus on stage. Asal uda on stage, pengen punya kekuatan supranatural menghentikan waktu biar bisa tiba tiba ngilang ga ketauan sama yang lain.

But that day, I challenged myself. Aku berusaha semampuku, sekuatku untuk bisa menaklukkan ketakutanku. Tangan yang dingin dan keringatan, kaki yang lemes dan gemetar, badan yang ga bisa tenang karna gelisah dan mulut yang ga berenti memotivasi diri sendiri karna saking takutnya, memang ga bisa aku hindari, tapi aku tetap memilih menyelesaikan bagianku, walau separuh nyawa dan otakku rasanya hilang pada saat mulai ngomong, tapi aku bisa. I did it.

Buat aku, hebat itu bukan karna bisa ngalahin orang lain, hebat itu bukan karna prestasi kita lebih awesome dari orang lain, tapi hebat ketika aku berhasil mengalahkan setiap ketakutanku. I'm proud of myself. Aku berani dan itu kehebatanku.

Lo más normal es que nos toque incubar el virus en la cama y dejar pasar unos días hasta que acabemos con él, pero además de los medicamentos que nos receten los médicos, puedes ayudar a tu cuerpo a deshacerse del incómodo malestar que te está amargando los días acompañando tu tratamiento con la alimentación adecuada según los síntomas que tengas.
