•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I’ve been asked many times if I eat an organic diet, if organic produce is worth it, & should you spend extra 💸 on organic groceries??? Younger me would have said yes; all organic all the time BUT the reality is organic IS generally more expensive & NOT always necessary! •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
Generally organic produce contains less/no preservatives🧬added colors/ flavors🩸, GMOs, & artificial ingredients🧪. The main reason I PERSONALLY eat SOME organic produce is certain foods are at higher risk for containing harmful pesticides, ingredients, etc so PERSONALLY I am willing to invest a little extra $ in buying organic versions. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
🍑🥬🍒If you want more info on which veggies/ fruit tend to be the most contaminated w/ pesticides look up “dirty dozen” list🍅🥒🍇

MY LIST of organic groceries include: 🥣Oats/ oat milk/ oat products- inorganic can contain unsafe levels of glyphosate —>the main ingredient found in the weed-killer Roundup, which is considered carcinogenic to human. *2018 study by the EWG found that every soat product they tested, tested + for some amount* 🥬Spinach & 🌶peppers 🥒Cucumbers & zuchini- Why? Bc these foods are usually eaten 1. Raw & 2. W/ out removing their outter skin, which usually contains the pesticides! 🍓Strawberries& Blueberries- mainly bc every time I look at organic vs non they just look better lol. 🥪Deli meats & 🐓raw chicken- this is mainly due to when the animals are given antibiotics, humans consume these antionitoics through eating the meat. ⚠️Organic deli meat also does not contains added nitrates 🥄Yogurt & 🥛milk/ dairy - this is bc organic versions use cows that are not given any hormones. 
By no means is the this the list you need to follow, do your research to determine if you choose organic or non!
