Here you got my OC Mable in a Circus themed lingerie!
I made the lineart digitally and printed it out as you could see in the last post. Then I coloured it with #indianink and watercolours. For the white and gold accents I used Signo Uniball-pens.
I like how it turned out, but I got a lot of criticism for the lineart in Discord Servers in which I posted it which made me sad and frustrated, because they only changed things I just definitely didn't want to change, which is why I haven't.
Yes....... the boobs are a little low
And the proportions not perfect
And the pose a little stiff
#Septingerie2019 Days 6, 18, 19 & 21: Calavera Catrina (Día de los Muertos), Bats, Ghosts and Cemetery.
This piece is still very much a WIP as have been most of my #Septingerie artworks as of late, but while I’m still having all of these fantastical, elaborate ideas that I don’t want to miss out on—I just don’t have the time to finish any of them within the time-frame of a closing September.
So from here until the end of this upcoming week: I will probably be only posting #WIP shots of pieces I have conjured up for the last bit of the #Septingerie2019 prompt list.
Either way: the fun I’ve had this month is real and I’m so grateful to everyone who has and still continues to join in. I know since this is the last week there’s a lot of preparation for October going on so I certainly don’t expect anyone to stick around here, but I still wanted to express my gratitude to you darlings! You’ve seriously made this one of the best Septingerie’s and I can’t thank you enough! I’m so excited to plan for next year’s list already!
Thank you also to my incredible art crew who helps make this happen each year, joins in on some of my prompts and still manages to do their own thing too: @glitter_reversi@jazcapri_@niavicia@roryannaustin@rhea_rifflard@_verdigo_@kassiopeeia@_pena_ink@cresil_art
You uni-queens are amazing and I love you bebes so incredibly much!✨🖤
I’ll still be trying to finish up this last week, myself, with mashed-up prompt list pieces before October fully takes over✌️🎃
I know you loves aren’t here for lifestyle-ish photos, but I was sketching at work yesterday (after my shift was over, like a semi-responsible adult), it was super nice out with the breeze that has been touched by autumn and I felt compelled to take a picture of this small, peaceful, seemingly insignificant moment.
The reality of a five minute moment like this is that they are actually so charged with power for me. A self empowerment that reminds me that no matter my day job, no matter what chaos is partying it up in my life at the time, I can always pull away—place myself in nature, in quiet, in appreciation, in art—and just exist. And be *okay* with that.
My job, my life circumstances, the people in my life, my art—not one is more or less important than the other. They all have profound effects on me, they all continue to change me and contribute to my inner growth and, for that, I’m utterly grateful. But I have to remember my goals, my dreams, my wishes—they don’t have to be associated with guilt or destroy the peace I feel when I step away from all of them and just allow myself to be.
I’ve tagged the random things I have in here not because I’m sponsored (how rad would that be though? 😂👌), but because what I use is quirky in the way that I don’t have to have the best and top dollar art supplies to be able to strut my saucy, arty booty. I use an old @quayaustralia sunglasses case to hold all of my pencils (that once held old broken sunglasses I still have, glued together and utilized), my cheap off-brand backpack that carries all my junk—art wise and medicinal/necessity wise—and my no nonsense, rough and tumble @starbucks cup that helps keep me hydrated; my mother gave it to me last year as a gift (which is especially important to me since I have an undiagnosed illness that causes me to be chronically dehydrated. Don’t know why, I just make sure to constantly keep up on my water intake).
It’s funny how much more I appreciate life when I breathe in these itty bitty moments.
