Flashback Friday to this sexy gym rat shoot. Flashback to days of being done up like a princess, having a killer photo shoot done to showcase your hard work; then crushing cupcakes and mojitos with some beauties to celebrate. This was the beginning. Currently I’m simply enjoying training, leaving room to excel in my newest travel nurse assignment and playing around with macro variations to figure out the best nutritional profile for my specific body and so forth. The future aspirations I have are to compete In bikini and or figure, attain a degree in nutrition or go back to school for my MD, travel nurse in the interm, travel for fun and get more tattoos; real question is in what order will this occur? Who knows 🤷🏼♀️. Does it matter nope it does not. Life is short, taking it day by day and just living my best life. Loving the island and my current assignment. ICU and ER shifts this weekend. Crushed legs last night after work, not the best leg day but shortened it and planning on adding it to today’s chest/booty workout to compensate. Not every day can be good and sometimes you aren’t into it and that’s ok. Planning on going for a run in the afternoon for one last Fasted Cardio before the weekend as fasted Hiit cardio is impossible on night shifts, sooo nice afternoon run, breaky and tomorrow will be a workout for the books and hopefully a nap before nights. Awesome foods for fat loss
Diet when losing body fat is paramount. As redundant as it sounds, whole foods are the key. High-volume foods (highest in nutrients and lowest in calories) are also the most filling foods, this allowing you to feel fuller on fewer total calories which makes fat loss easy. Some of the best foods include: oats (incredibly filling due to the high fiber, protein, and water content making it a great way to start your day being full and energized for hours), broccoli (super low in calories which means you can stock up a meal with cups of broccoli at a time to add bulk), pineapple (not only high in multiple nutrients, but also only 80 calories per cup making it low in calories and quite filling), flax seeds (a great way to add fat, fiber and protein to most meals which adds the nutrition value and satiety level to the overall meal as those healthy fats especially help blunt the release of glucose into the bloodstream from food, allowing a sustained level of energy due to a more normal insulin response), grapes (with only 100 calories per cup, it is another fruit that I love to add with snacks due to being quite filling and also are a great dessert frozen), and green tea (zero calories, but also has a thermogenic effect to help you burn a bit more calories at rest which could help with overall fat loss). If you want to lose body fat, you have to respect what foods you consume.

Was Sport angeht bin ich ja ein totaler Fan dieser Hindernis- und Matschläufe 😍 wie zum Biepsiel @xletixcom! Oder letztes Jahr bin ich beim @finish_hindernislauf mitgelaufen!
Eigentlich steht schon seit letztem Jahr für @conradmartins und mich ein gemeinsamer Lauf an, aber leider macht mein Fuß uns immer einen Strich durch die Rechnung, deswegen wollten wir das Risiko auch nicht eingehen Tickets zu bestellen. Aber was nicht ist, kann ja noch werden!

I went from thinking I could out exercise poor nutrition (except I was in denial and thought I actually ate decent), to finally seeing the light and realizing how important nutrition is! I started having the results I'd been WISHING and HOPING for with proper portions, balanced macros, and eating every 2.5-3 hours. .
Now I'm a believer in the idea that abs are made in the kitchen, nutrition is 80% and being prepared isn't half the battle, IT IS THE BATTLE! So much so that I decided to become certified in the nutrition program that has taught me so much about fueling my body properly while still enjoying delicious food. Now I'm equipped to help others embrace this lifestyle of healthy eating, learn more about nutrition and how addictive sugar can be and how we can turn to activities rather than food to deal with our emotions. .

I have a binge-eating problem and realized that I have a bad relationship with food. When I get stressed out, I like to eat. I still struggle with this every day . To anyone trying to be the best version of themselves, just know that Weight loss is a process, and it won’t happen overnight. You didn’t gain it overnight, it won’t come off overnight.
