Chungking Express, Wong Kar-wai -
I'm wondering why I've never seen this before (answer to myself: probably because you waste your time doing other useless things). Anyway I feel like it came at the right time, as if I've already known it would fit with my current mood. This movie is so warming although it reguards basically solitude after (or not) breakups. And I just love the colours and the soft shapes describing Hong Kong and its life. So genuine.
Twenty-Fiiiiiine 😂 it’s Rae Day y’all 🎉 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of my journey thus far ✨ it’s only the beginning, but my life is filled with so much love & support. I am overwhelmed with gratitude. 🦋 Happy New Year To Me 🥂

Mid 90s by Jonah Hill:
In an interview, Jonah Hill admitted that he was afraid he would accused of being bigoted because of the repeated use of words like f*****t throughout the film and considered a shooting a scene where the kids debate over whether they should be using that kind of language. He showed the scene to producer Scott Rudin, who asked, "Would you guys have had this conversation back then?" When Jonah said no, Rudin said that the scene would be "more offensive to put that in the movie than to show it how it actually was." Rudin is gay.🎬
