  • '⁣The benefits for any brand of recruiting a neurodiverse workforce are wide ranging and transformative. From leading new innovations and helping marketers achieve true diversity of thought, to enriching the wider company culture, having a neurodiverse workforce makes strong business sense.⠀
⠀
⠀
Neurodiversity, by definition, relates to individuals with dyslexia, dyscalculia, dyspraxia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorders (ADHD) and autism, including Asperger’s syndrome.⠀
⠀
⠀
Representing a talented, but often untapped workforce, neurodiverse people have conditions that often sit on a spectrum, meaning they differ significantly in terms of severity and symptoms. For this reason it is crucial employers resist the temptation to stereotype and appreciate that neurodiverse people possess a wide range of skills suited to a variety of roles.⠀
⠀
⠀
⁣The business benefits of committing to neurodiversity are vast. The National Institute of Economic and Social Research urges employers to consider the numerous positive attributes associated with neurodiverse individuals from creativity, persistence and loyalty, to the ability to hyperfocus and possession of visual, spatial and lateral thinking skills.'⠀

  • 🎉It’s Friday & I do not want to keep you for long, so I will get right to it.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Do you sometimes feel like you do not have enough time to be all social media platforms all the time? Good! Because you shouldn’t be – especially as a small business owner – I am sure you have more important things to attend.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Don’t get me wrong, though, social media marketing is essential! So what should you do in such a case?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Well, you have three options:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉You can hire a social media manager. However, most small business owners do not have a big enough budget for a full-time employee. Plus, there is no need to put 40 hours a week into a small business social media accounts.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉You can also hire a freelance social media specialist that will only work a few hours a day from home. This option is much more affordable and in most cases, works out perfect because you get the same, if not more, of an effort and not having to worry about paying a full-time employee. But that can also be a bit much for some business owners.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉Your final option is to do it all by yourself but prioritize. ➡️ Don’t be on all platforms because that can get time-consuming, especially when you are optimizing content for each platform.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
If you already have social media platforms for your business, take a look at the one with the most engagement and stick to that one. If you do not have a social media platform for your business, choose the one you are most comfortable with and make sure that your target market is on that platform.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, focus on that one or two platforms that you chose and focus on growing your audience there. Once you spread awareness and grow your following with quality customers, the other platforms will build themselves. (Which hopefully it means that your business will grow as well and maybe then you can hire someone else to help you out)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Ok, Happy Friday People! Have a great weekend! 🙌
