Still mornings, not a soul in sight. Spent the morning paddling along the still lake, drinking coffee, and sitting in front of a warm fire. It’s the simple things that really get me🤍

The weather forecast called for all sun, but little did we know it was going to rain almost the entire time. Regardless, this hike was absolutely stunning, and I could see why it’s one of the most sought out locations in Canada. Looking forward to the day we get to see all the surrounding peaks with sunny skies (but who knows, the mountains have their own plan)🏔🌞

Still one of my favorite places in Iceland.
You can stay here and shoot hours.
Have you ever been to Iceland? 🇮🇸 #hellofrom#iceland

Icy reflections in Shasta ❄️🗻 a frigid morning in Northern California, fresh snow on the ground and no one around, the forecast called for cloudy skies but when the alarm went off I saw stars in the sky — a good sign for magic to happen. Found these icicles while scanning the area, a nice touch by nature indicating the sign of the season, a perfect moment...✨

On the map it looks like the peak behind me, south of our objective Massive Mountain, is unnamed but its impressive face was pretty much all we could see as the clouds and snow started rolling in. It felt great to be back on a summit, although I'm still waiting for that bluebird day and views of snowy peaks far down the horizon ❄ January 18, 2020 📷@brandonmacmullin

The mountains have been getting hammered wish snow lately. So @disa and I went up to the pass to see what we could find. We weren’t having any luck getting any views so we did a little cabin hunting and found this little one!! ❄️🏠
Nothin like a spur of the moment trip up to Polebridge in the winter. Snow covered peaks and endless solitude. My dream has to always build a cabin deep in the woods with windows facing toward the Livingston range of GNP.

Body / Mind.
My body is inside working.
My brain is outside up a mountain, in a forest, relaxing by a lake, hidden in the hills.
My thoughts wander to the next adventure.
Where are your thoughts taking you in the middle of the working week? .

Slow weekends away (and weekdays) are what make the Sunshine Coast magic. With plenty of nature to explore, hidden gems, and a plethora of unique places to sink into and relax, there's no shortage of reasons to come visit (even when it's raining). Ten ways to spend a rainy day here on the Sunshine Coast is up at the link on our profile (getting cozy, drinking tea, and adopting sloth-style is also encouraged).⠀

Mornings in the Appalachia. Missing summer a little extra in these mountains since it’s been a winter with hardly any snow. Tbh just writing this up to jinx myself since it’s finally getting in the 20s 😉
I haven’t touched my camera in a month. Which is weird for me. Photography always brings me so much joy; it doesn’t matter if it’s for a client or if I’m walking around a forest with @dallasinthenorth. But I’ve felt a need to take a step back. This past month I’ve put aside so many things that make my day because I’ve had to focus all my energy on something else. I feel exhausted to be honest. I’m someone who does NOT handle stress well (😅) and it’s been very hard to balance everything that’s been happening. But the coming months hold a lot more difficult times, exciting opportunities and adventures I’ve only ever dreamed about until now. So I know what’s happening now will be worth it. But damn, is anyone else feeling run down ? My take away is, you’ve gotta grind for the things you really want, but don’t get so lost in the past or future, that you forget to live in the now.
Itty bitty tongue poke! •••• I know it gets brought up a lot but many people still don’t clue into the importance of it but please have recall on your dogs if you have them off leash. You never know how other dogs are going to react and the excuse of my dog is friendly is crap. Many dogs don’t deal well with overly friendly dogs; koda being one of them and I hate getting him into situations where I’m following the on leash rule and someone else isn’t, or having an extremely persistent dog near, which puts koda in a defensive position when a dog keeps running at him, circling and getting into his space. I want to set him up for success but it’s often impossible to predict other owner’s actions with their dogs. Training is fun and if you don’t know how to do it get help!! There are so many amazing resources and fantastic trainers out there. Laziness or my dog is friendly shouldn’t be an excuse to not work on recall.
Rant done! Now go give your pup a good belly rub ⭐️

Dropping off pop and chips. The sun is making its return in the far north but damn it’s still cold! -37 and a 15 knot wind. Brrr. Working here in the eastern arctic for NSA I’m reminded of the old song “Working on a chain gang” by the Supremes. .

This morning was just perfect. This was my first time visiting the Eastern Sierras and we woke up to the sun rising over the snow covered mountains. The first stop of the day on this beautiful winter morning were these hot springs which we had all to ourselves. And just when you thought the morning couldn’t have gotten any more magical.. the snow starts falling! I think it was in that moment of bliss that I fell in love with the Eastern Sierras and I’m ready to go back. Who’s coming with me?
Stepping out of this cabin at 3 AM was surreal. As I walked off the porch, I looked up into the starry blue night sky to see hundreds of stars shining brightly, regardless of the full moon. I was snapped out of being mesmerized by the night sky, when I realized that my fingers were freezing. Reluctantly, I walked inside to warm myself by the fire.

Mount Rainier also known as Tahoma or Tacoma, is a large active stratovolcano in Cascadia located 59 miles (95 km) south-southeast of Seattle, in Mount Rainier National Park. ... Mt. Rainier is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world, and it is on the Decade Volcano list.
Back when I went to the keys I was about 10 or so pounds heavier than I am now. Without muscle.. so at that time I was not feeling myself and was very self conscious. But looking back on these photos I see that it was all about my perception because it’s really hard to tell I was much heavier. It’s not the weight, it’s what you make of it in your mind. Be good to yourself 🙏🏼
