Didnt know it was shirmp dumplings. The shop owner gave me 50% extra noodles and dumplings for free because i was pinoy. I had to finish it all to show appreciation. Everything tasted good! The broth, the veggies, the noodles and the dumplings. A bit anxious if i will get an allergy attack there. The shrimp meat was so fresh and crunchy. I almost forgot how it tasted like. It has been 24years since i last had it.

Bad Health Month: I got seasonal #allergies that turned into #pneumonia . Cost: ~$220 in doctor visits & #rx antibiotics, inhalers, and steroids. That's $120 in 4 doctor visits, then $85 for the inhalers, and $15 for 3 generic prescriptions (1x steroid course and 2x antibiotics). +/- $10
All that is with Covered CA Blue Shield Gold 80 HMO. I have an Entire Opinion about #health care and #insurance , but, well, that's another story.
This was the #xray taken at urgent care. I went in because I had coughing fits and breathing was laborious and ragged. I remember asthma attacks as a kid but nothing like this where an inhaler didn't help. That was what got me to urgent care really, not even feeling shitty but the fact that the bronchodilator wasn't able to dilate those bronchos. Usually when I feel shitty doctors are just like, 🤷🏻♂️ When I got to urgent care, courtesy my dad happening to be there to drive, I told them I couldn't breathe and the lady was like, you mean your nose is stuffed? I almost lost my 💩 ... I now know the proper incantation: "I can't breathe and my inhaler isn't working". The big lump on the right is my ♥️ and all those spidery tendrils are lung "air pipes" full of mucus. In healthy lungs you might see a little of that from the tissue but nothing so dramatic especially on a lower quality x-ray like this. (I saw a lot of x-rays for my surgery... surgeries) So the inhaler magic couldn't get past the mucus.
Speaking of surgery, you can see the hardware from my first surgery at the top right (a screw on the top of the collarbone and the base of the scapula holding down a synthetic ligament). If you look really closely you can see the faded areas right around it where they placed the cadaver tendon and drilled holes and stuff. Science!
It was kinda weird accepting it was pneumonia. I was like, really?? I was kinda surprised that nobody was inclined to find out what it actually was. They gave me antibiotics regardless of it being bacterial.
It made me think of Hillary Clinton getting eviscerated for feeling faint while suffering from pneumonia -- I could barely walk to go pee and she was giving a talk. Huh. Weird. 🤷🏻♂️ #butherlungs

Instagram’s future influencer coming at you 😅. This girl will pop a pose for you in a flat second.. given she’s in the right mood anyway. Seriously some days I truly believe she’s 4yrs old going on 14. •
Anyway, my practically teenage daughter can really struggle through allergy season with sneezing, sniffling and feeling lousy. We’re so thankful to have come across @artemistherapeutics Lucidia Natural Allergy medicine to keep her happy and healthy. The instructions do not mention use for kids so I inquired about this for Gracie to try. @artemistherapeutics was quick to respond and so helpful in explaining everything to me. For a 4yr old they recommended 1/4 capsule so we just open the capsule up, sprinkle it on a spoon and mix it with peanut butter. My picky girl has no problem taking this and says she can’t even taste the medicine! If you struggle with allergies I recommend trying Lucidia, you can buy on @amazon through Prime! •
“But it doesn’t have nuts in it!!!” -everyone who doesn’t have a food allergy
Just because something doesn’t have nuts (or whatever you’re allergic to) in the name or in bolded print, doesn’t mean that it’s safe for you!! Always, always read labels, even if it’s something you’ve had before! Especially the fine print, that’s often where I find hidden allergens (in these cases, peanut oil in ice cream and coconut oil that was “bottled in a facility” with peanut oil). _______________________________
🍦—> I didn’t eat this specific pint of ice cream, but I have made the mistake of eating ice cream that looked deceivingly safe for me to eat. At some point after I ate some of that ice cream, I double checked the label and discovered that it contained peanut oil!! While this contain nuts, the allergen warning label did NOT say “contains peanuts.” ____________________________
🥥 —> I didn’t think to read the label on this jar of coconut oil when I purchased it until I was about to bake cookies (recipe on featured stories). I returned this jar to the store. Even something as simple as coconut oil could be potentially harmful depending on how severe your allergy is.
Summary: Read labels. Bold print AND the fine print. Labels are constantly being updated so something that was safe for you to eat the other week, might not be safe for you today. - Hannah

Filled up the pill reminder for the coming week. It is mostly supplements (that actually help with my #ehlersdanlossyndrome symptoms or #chronicpain or #allergies ) with an antihistamine and some pain meds in there. Told you I'm older than I look...
This is my story, this is my song, praising my Savior all the day long. . .
By Jan 2016 I was just done. I tried everything my way and the way my family had urged me to. We had been to all the places, all the offices, covered all the bases and all I had to show for it was more eczema, more weird allergies, and more prescriptions. The Lord stepped in and opened my heart to something new, something different. An inside-out tactic instead of just addressing my surface. And you know what, it worked.
In 4 months time, I was confident enough to put on a swimsuit and take a dip with my son. I didn’t constantly need naps anymore. My anxiety was leveling. Layers upon layers of unhealthy habits and issues were shedded. I was feeling like a new person.
I began sharing the very next year and I haven’t stopped since. This is my story from silent sufferer to shouting it from the rooftops. God is good and deserves so much glory. I hope I do that by sharing. #forourgood#forhisglory#healthy#happy#eczema#allergies#testimony
