Soaking up these barefoot vibes in sunny Portland. Can’t believe it’s already been nine months since I enrolled in the Nutritional Therapy Practitioner program with @ntatraining . It’s been a wild ride and I’m looking forward to the adventures that lay ahead ✌🏼
Going for a brisk walk every day and adding in 1 HIIT or MIIT session a week, along with 1 higher intensity steady state cardio session is a wonderful base for cardiovascular fitness, and yields many physical and mental health benefits.
in fact, the AHA and the CDC recommends a general target heart rate of:
Moderate exercise intensity: 50-70%of your max HR for
Vigorous exercise intensity: 70-85 % of your max HR for
Feel free to combine these recommendations in an enjoyable way. You can dance, run, hike, bike, swim, or take a fitness class. Move in a way that is enjoyable and challenging. If you are starting from ground zero, then challenge yourself to just 10 minutes of walking each day.
Talk about a challenge!
This buck was brought in with no skull cap and sawed antlers. After so cleaning up of the bases I proceed to rebuild the skull cap. Antlers were attached and then moved on to cutting the cap for a antler mount. This cap was originally ordered for a moose and the company sent me the wrong one.
When discussing the antler mount with the client this option was given as it was on hand. The client liked the look and went ahead.
The cover may look “easy” enough but it was sure a challenge and more than a headache. In the end it turned out well and it is ready to return home! 😊
Today is the day! On my 13 hour drive to Utah. This is a huge step in my education and for my journey towards serving women in the Midwifery role. Nervous and feeling so torn about leaving my kiddos, but ready or not! Isn’t it so nice of Cash to let me borrow his Case IH tractor backpack for my school books? 🤣
Oh hey! Another photo that isn’t candles. But you guys always have the best suggestions and I need them 😘 I’ve been trying to bake or try a new recipe once a week (this was last week’s blackberry cobbler) - what should I try this week? I go for more “rustic” recipes (because I’m not good at fancy decorating 😜).
