Living in a manner worthy of Christ's calling (Ephesians 4:1) includes four traits described in this verse. First, the Ephesians—and all Christians—are to live in humility. Christ called others to live with the humility of a child (Matthew 18:4) and taught, "Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" (Matthew 23:12). Jesus was born in a humble manager, grew up in humble surroundings, lived a humble life, yet had a tremendous impact. Christ's followers are to likewise operate in humility.
Second, believers are to live with gentleness. Being gentle is part of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:23) and important in the life of every believer. This trait not only helps to avoid unnecessary conflict, it demonstrates the love we are meant to display at all times (John 13:34–35). Third, believers are to exhibit patience. Patience is another part of the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22) and also a necessity if we are to show love to others. Elsewhere, Paul reminds believers that "love is patient" (1 Corinthians 13:4). Fourth, believers are to live with love toward one another. Paul has mentioned this in Ephesians and other letters, especially in 1 Corinthians 13 where the "greatest of [God's gifts] is love." Particularly as it is used in the New Testament, "love" is not merely a feeling or an emotion. It means taking actions which benefit others. A feeling which doesn't result in action is not biblical "love."
Miqueas 6:8 TLA
To earn the money to get the business of the ground I had a few options.
I could go the typical Silicon Valley style start up route where I put together a team splitting up the ownership of the company and then raise a ton of money from investors meaning I would probably have to eventually take the company public. Not a terrible thing but I didn’t want to take things that way
Instead, for the past couple of months I’ve been rideshare driving and doing free lance work when I’m not building the app or working on the business side of things
It’s been a cool experience. I meet a bunch of interesting people. And it’s like getting paid to go on a road trip with total strangers.
What do you think, is there a better way to go about this?
Recovery is very slow and mentally challenging , and every day theres an obstical that i did not prepare for on this stage of life but at the end of the day this experience will make me a better man !!!thank you god for the blessings you continue to give me #amen#blessed #
Here's the deal - you can be a warrior or a worrier, but you can't be both. At least, not at the same time. When my eyes and my heart and my attitude are fixed on Jesus, I am 100% a warrior. No doubt about it. I'm filled with trust for Jesus. I feel Him all around me. I wasn’t born a warrior - this is how i choose to be. But when I focus on life and all the stuff going on around me, I easily become a worrier. Almost too easily!! Joyce Meyer said "Worry is a down payment on a problem you may never have." How about that? You may never have that problem that you're spending all of this time worrying about. Kinda blew my mind for a second and made me take stock in the things I worry about. Worry also means “to choke” - i picture it like weeds that have overrun a garden and choked out all the flowers. We don’t need to let that happen. Because, through Jesus, we have the power to stop this. The first way is to keep our eyes fixed on Him. He has a plan and He has a way, we just need to trust that. We do this for a minute and then it seems like we can't help but take the worry back. Here's step two: 2 Corinthians 10:5 "Take every thought captive to obey Christ." This is something that I have to do a bazillion times a day. And every time I do it, I am a warrior. And now that song by Patti Smyth is gonna be stuck in my head all day... #amen#bibleversedaily#jesus#warrior#noworries#trust#pray#seekgod#praise#obey

DEEP REVELATION RECORDS | PRESENTS
TO GOD FOR BLESSING ME MORE THAN I DESERVE .
Reposted from @victoriaorenze (@get_regrann) - This prayer was said at a church last Sunday, and the AMEN was not as resounding and I can understand why. We will struggle with this kind of prayer because it’s totally opposite of what our world is teaching and encouraging us to be right now, and Yes ,it’s obviously opposite to the feel-good Prayer Points we have become accustomed to in our Churches today . In our kingdom we cannot abort PROCESS;The place of waiting, hiding, incubating before showing forth cannot be replaced. The more we wait and incubate the better we grow. The more we retreat into Him, staying connected to the source, the more we will be useful to His agenda. Don’t hate the place of obscurity, never leave that place no matter how big you think you have become, as you hide, He will reveal you. Your job ,infact,is to hide and His job is to reveal. So don’t be quick to want to be heard, seen, known, talked about, if He gives you a message for now, He will also make available the platform for it to be delivered . So don’t run ahead of Him to create your own platform, It can be successful but might not be effective. Wait patiently on the Lord, we will never miss it in a true place of waiting.
Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that continues to bear fruit, He [repeatedly] prunes, so that it will bear more fruit [even richer and finer fruit].”
JOHN 15:1-2 AMP
May we truly take this prayer in and embrace it in Jesus name.
