In love with the history? Discover the ancient Athens is an unforgettable experience!
I have had the chance to walk through the ancient agora, the Acropolis and visited the Acropolis museum.
Everything with a tour to don't miss any detail!
What impressed me the most?
The temple Hephaestus built in 490 BC, is one of the most well preserved temple that exists. We can still see so many details on it.
And for sure the Acropolis and its history. Everything in the Acropolis fascinates me. The siza, the majesty, the meaning. It is a shame we can,t appreciate too much of this monument but we can have a much better idea on how it looked like visiting the museum.
Athens has so many things to see and to learn that I will definitely go back there!
Temple of Hephaestus and the Ancient Agora of Athina 🌳🏛🌳 The Initial use of the Agora was a commercial market place and a prime location for residential gatherings. Founded 6th century BC
The temple which is dedicated to Hephaestus god of fire, metal work, stone masonry, forges etc ⚒
In the afternoon of the first day we whet our appetites for the #ancienthistory with a big day planned tomorrow. We visited the Roman Agora, Hadrian's Library and the Ancient Agora. It is incredible to see these locations and imagine the thriving civilisation that existed around these locations.
