Puerto Madero in Eclectic Buenos Aires, Argentina. This was originally the main port of BA. Now it’s a great place to hang out with so many chic bars and restaurants. Sleek high rise buildings with lovely lights add to the already excessively seductive skyline. The walk around the water front was cool and surely a must do if you are in BA ! Perhaps some day I will return for the legendary Beef steaks if not for the urban glitter 😊

I did several posts describing these two buildings separately. Now you can see them face to face (quite literally in this very instance). I deliberately did not include the whole building volumes into the picture so you could could focus on the main issue I would like to point out here. Does the “new” kid on the block has to respect the ones who’s been there for ages (yes it’s not an exaggeration), or you can do whatever, wherever?
v i c e n t e • Welcome to the 2.0 life, where we are forever in motion, forever trying to get somewhere (not even sure where?). For me, it has been a blessing to connect with others. It has kept me grounded. (I hate feeling like IG it’s running the ‘show’ of my life - scary thought ) •
For this posts I connected with @vicentenbminimal and his great work and pics of minimal architecture he takes mainly in Chile. We had a quick chat but it was a meaningful one as I got to know a little bit about Vicente’s background and profession (HINT: taking pics its not Vicente’s main source of income) 🙃 Again R E A L •
First Presbyterian Church
The first church built in 1668 was burned in 1780 by the British and Loyalist. James Caldwell was the pastor of this church. His wife was killed at the Battle of Connecticut Farms and James at the Battle of Springfield. Both are buried in the churchyard.
