It is one of those days where I feel I have so much I want/need to do. However I think editing is going to win today. I managed to edit a few images yesterday and create a submission, which is always a good thing. But there is still so much to do.
I took this a couple of weeks ago, once again this book and those pages. I just love the texture and this is a different angle then I normally shoot. So I am liking it and just added this one to the shop. You can own it by clicking that link in the bio. If you should have any questions or concerns about a possible order just send me a dm or a message via etsy. Thank you friends. Have a lovely day.
Cool darkness a soothing blanket for her aching bones, her eyes drooped closed to further silence the maddening world.
Small short breaths making way for deeper ones, tension leaving the body with each puff of air.
And then a pull.
Nothing quite defined, just a subtle tug. Like the awareness of an electrical field, alerting your system that something is present.
"Go away, I've had enough of this demanding world".
The tug of instinctual flight still a whisper in her ears, but with a deep sigh of breath she submits to the wonder. The busy rush of the world fading from her mind as she allows her senses to be filled with the soft warming glow of this peaceful little creature. A small thing, so easily lost in the bright lights of the rest of the world, calm her soul in this moment.
The chaos falls away, and there is only peace.

Meditating upon her existence and blossoming like a flower~ ‘Celebrating Womanhood’, a serene, dazzlingly beautiful 27 x 13 inch charcoal and acrylic by Mr. Ajay De is a masterpiece. Poignant and exquisite, it moves the viewer with its graceful vocabulary, where the woman is reveling in her being.

The Poppy Patch, Oil, enamel, acrylic and ink on canvas, 136 x 103 x 3cm.
Poppies aren’t the cultivated flowers of regal gardens, they are divine wild polka dots which grow amidst tangled grass and twisted branches. Poppies sway in the breeze, bending their heads and bowing to nature. Beautiful flashes of red shining boldly against summer blue skies and verdant green undergrowth. In the poppy patch I wanted to capture the wildness of the scene. The beauty of untamed nature, feral and raw and perfect. The poppy patch has a torn, windswept sky which indicates the movement of wind. The poppies sit amidst tangled roses and delicate foxgloves. Vibrant dandelion heads peak through the undergrowth and delicate butterflies crown the scene. I used an abstract expressionist technique using enamel and acrylic paints to draw in the picture to keep the scene chaotic and wild and then used rich oil paint to develop shape and definition to the floral hillside. The poppy patch is a large painting measuring 136 x 103 x 3cm.
I painted The Poppy Patch with a blue sky initially, then after living with the painting a few weeks decided the blue was a little too "pretty" and I wanted the painting to have more heart....a little more gumption! I thought the green completed the scene better and gave the painting an ethereal quality.....what do you think? Green or blue?
