In 2018, two of my best friends Ben & Rachael saved up, took off & spent 5 months travelling through Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam & Laos.
Whilst they were away, Ben sent back video of their travels after my promise that I could one day put it all together & make something special for them.
So here it is, a short travel video featuring the excitement of Ben & Rachaels first few months away. Inside you will find beaches, elephants, tubing, boozing, scuba, waterfalls & much more… Including a sneak peak something coming very soon if you stay until the end.

Now that we’re halfway through #noisevember , I want to give everyone (including myself) a reminder. ⠀
We’re all probably seeing a ton of amazing sound designers posting their stuff. That’s fantastic, inspiring, educational, and always much appreciated. More often than not, we’re also seeing people who are much further along in their careers than us. ⠀
As a result, we’ll see their amazing gear and studios and our lizard brains will light up and say “oooooh” and make us start thinking it’s time to upgrade our kit. ⠀
Sure, gear, plugins, software, all of that is great, and sometimes it’s even necessary. Even so, 80% of it is mostly “nice to have” but not completely necessary - especially in the beginning. ⠀
If you have a computer, audio software, and maybe a field recorder (though even that isn’t necessary at first), then you have everything you need to make great sound, get practice, and learn the process. ⠀

After Abbey Road // Meet our Alumni: Florian Brückl 🎸🎶

We often receive the question, if and how our graduates are able to pursue a carrier in the music industry. Therefore, we have decided to create a new blog series called “meet our alumni”. In this new format, we are going to regularly interview our former students to find out about their stories and what they have been experiencing since their graduation.
First up is Florian Brückl, a singer-songwriter, guitarist and freshly-graduated music producer. Just a little over 20 years old, he has already made himself a name on the German music market by contributing a song to the album of German cult figure and singer Roland Kaiser. His recent graduation from the Abbey Road Institute in Frankfurt leaves him very optimistic about his future: “I would love to continue putting all my passion into writing and producing music”
