Romanı anlatmaya nerden başlamalı diye düşünmedim değil. Karakterleri mi betimlemeleri mi yoksa ön plana çıkardıkları mı, aklıma düşürdüğü tarihsel roman mı yoksa tarihsel kurgu sorusu mu , baskın olan kara mizah yönü mü, karakterlerinin inanılmaz halleri mi? Bilemedim... ilk okuyan için zor bir roman fakat benim gibi bi kaç kez okuduysanız karakterlerle sarmaş dolaş , mekanların kokusunu içinize çeke çeke okuyabilirsiniz. Not: okuduğunuzda ne demek istediğimi anlayacaksınız 😊mutlu günler olsun...

Yasmina is a 15-years-old girl who is passionate about soccer and plays with the team FC SAINT ETIENNE. Originally from Morocco, she's in an illegal status in France, living with her father and his French partner. One evening when she comes back from a training session, she sees her father being arrested before her own eyes.
- Hug me

There are so many things I would tell this new mum on the left. I wish she knew what she would go on to tackle & conquer with two children at her side...soon to be three. I wish she knew that while she felt so broken and so far removed from her old self that this in fact was the most beautiful part of it - a rebirthing. I wish I could tell her that when she is ready and only when she is ready that slowly her body will strengthen and be stronger than ever before. I wish I could give her the guide we have just written to help make taking care of herself in among all of this feel like a possibility with some simple steps. I am also about to be this new mum again in about 20 weeks and will need to be reminded of all of this ❤ It is for all mums no matter where you are on your journey that I wrote our guide 'Get Started' with @cara.drjuliesmumsquad 📚 I just gave a heartfelt thank you on Facebook to all who have pre-ordered this book some as long ago as five months back. You have helped other mums in doing this and helped make this happen - thank you all sooooo much - I am insanely grateful and this will be officially landing tomorrow! 🏋️♀️🥑🌿💚📚 #getstarted#drjuliesmumsquad#strongmums#mumswellbeing#keepingitreal#motherhoodunplugged#author#authorsofinstagram#mumprenuer#entreprenur#empoweringmums
I read somewhere that sleep is like an erection - the harder you think about it, the less likely it is to happen. How true that is. The more I want to sleep, the more I try, the more illusive it becomes.
Sometimes I go a few hours before admitting to myself I’m not going to sleep; often it’s only a few minutes. “You’re so aware of sleeping”, my brain will say, “that there’s no chance you’re going to be able to do it”. And from that moment on, I’m stuffed. There’s no coming back. I’ve thought about it - I’m conscious of sleeping - and therefore I’ll never be able to do it.
So I toss and turn; and get up; and try sleeping somewhere else; and try reading; and try listening to a podcast; and try writing; and try breathing; and try reading some more; and try tossing and turning again. I do this on repeat for hours and hours and hours. 1am becomes 2am, becomes 3:30am, becomes 4:15am.
Eventually birds begin tweeting outside, rubbish trucks start zooming up the road, day slowly breaks and I blink my way into it - unrested, sore, knackered, sad.
The more you give to others, the more money, happiness and fulfillment you’ll receive in a consistent basis.
Learn how to give more to others without expecting something in return. It’s not easy, but it’s so worth it.

Panibagong Linggo na naman, sweethearts, and it is time for our #TPWoW or TP featured Writer of the Week!
Kung wala pa, you can check his books at https://shp.ee/beaprnp
'How well do you ignore yourself?
It is not a usual question one may ask you.
I am not a usual person, for I have been known to ask some of the oddest questions. So, go ahead, ask yourself "How well do I really know myself?"' ~ RC
Wearing my scars with pride today 🖤 lately, when I meet someone truly connected and present, I ask them: “What hardships have you been through, to make you so amazing and brilliant?” because I know, only those people who are truly amazing and brilliant, have seen the other side of life - the bottoms of their own soul and existence itself.
"All this she must possess," added (.....), "and to all this she must yet add something more substantial, in the improvement of her mind by extensive reading." .
Can you name the Character... and the Book?
AFTERMATH - Sharanya Karkera (@anubhooti_chouhan)
It's been a month,
The geyser in the big bathroom isn't working anymore,
And the light in the other bathroom keeps flickering.
There are no vegetables in the fridge,
Fresh ones at least.
I think the milk has become sour too,
But I wouldn't know.
Every few minutes a drop, or maybe more
Falls from the kitchen tap
And splashes over last week's utensils.
I think the house too, is silently mourning, facing withdrawal symptoms,
And severe abandonment issues.
I haven't taken out the rest of your clothes from the cupboard,
Whose hinges have now started creaking in protest every time I bang it's door shut.
And once in a while, one door opens back up,
Perhaps in rebellion against its new owner, so it now has tape marks,
tape marks in places it shouldn't have tape marks.
here's something wrong with the house, but I can't seem to figure out what.
House, not home.
You took the home with you when you left.
The tv remote is tired of being hurled against the wall,
I don't know where to look for the batteries, and I'm not about to ask you.
The dust seems to have found a place to stay, permanently atop the kitchen counter.
I'm about seventy-nine per cent sure there are no mice or cockroaches,
I don't think they have realised you're gone. Yet.
Most nights, the house is uninhabited-
I crash at Tara's.
I think the house too, is facing withdrawal symptoms,
And severe abandonment issues.
But, you know, I think,
the house and I?
we'll be okay,
The rose plant's finally blooming.
[aquela combinação perfeita: café e um bom livro! 💛]
// #agatadesaltosaltos#blog#blogger#book#oanjobranco#JRS#author#booklover#bookaholic#bookaddict#bookstagram#read#review#lifestyle#details#coffee#loveit#mood#photooftheday#photolovers#igdaily#instabook

I’m really bad at describing books and putting my thoughts together to write an actual nice review but let me try. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Set in South Carolina in 1964, The Secret Life of Bees tells the story of Lily Owens, whose life has been shaped around the blurred memory of the afternoon her mother was killed. When Lily's fierce-hearted black "stand-in mother," Rosaleen, insults three of the deepest racists in town, Lily decides to spring them both free. They escape to Tiburon, South Carolina--a town that holds the secret to her mother's past. Taken in by an eccentric trio of black beekeeping sisters, Lily is introduced to their mesmerizing world of bees and honey, and the Black Madonna. This is a remarkable novel about divine female power, a story women will share and pass on to their daughters for years to come.
I’m still processing and ever since I’ve finished reading I can’t stop thinking about this book. I love how the subject of beekeeping was incorporated and source for numerous beautiful metaphors. The characters were astonishingly realistic and relatable. I was completely immersed in the story and couldn’t stop reading. What a dream it would be to live with the beekeeping sisters. I haven’t genuinely laughed while reading in a very long time but this book made me laugh out loud just as much as it made me cry. I have never read a book that made me as happy as this one does. So it’s easy to say that it’s my new favourite book!

Abitur endlich erfolgreich hinter mir, geht's nun ans Schreiben. Danke, @williwiwild. Jetzt habe ich auch ständig einen Ohrwurm! (River Lea oder Water under the bridge)... 😍😂
Einen schönen Tag und viel Spaß / Erfolg! 😊🌿
P. S. : Die Tasse hat @samenature selbst gemacht! 💗
