The end of August seems to be speedily approaching, and I've definitely noticed the nights creeping in a little earlier. •
There's always sadness as Summer comes to an end and we lose our long days but Autumn brings so many lovely things: •
The changing of the leaves, snuggly evenings, warming food, the acceptance of a slower pace of life and some wonderful seasonal food 😍 •
Instead of being sad at the ending of summer how can you welcome in the Autumn? •
I'm a fan of picking all of the yummy berries we have in the hedges around my village, starting to change the scents of my candles to a more autumnal scent and appreciating the sunsets that seem to change with the seasons. •
Autumn is also the season for a massage, where else would you rather be on a dark evening!? 😘

Shipping today - Herdwick Sheep, Old Winchester Hill. This one is proving very popular at the moment as a greetings card (swipe left.) Perhaps some folks are feeling a bit autumnal. There’s certainly a nip in the air first thing, and more dew on the ground...
Hokkaido #Japan . The photos here give you a tiny taste of what our two week #walking trip to Hokkaido will be like. The trip begins in #Sapporo on 29 September so you get to enjoy the spectacular #autumncolours as well as some amazing #volcano scenery. The trip requires decent fitness as it includes carrying a full #backpack and #camping out on a number of occasions.
