This Greek salad with avocado is exactly what winter ordered. It’s fresh, crunchy, tangy, and above all, a delicious bright spot in the dearth of these frigid elements. It has the basic flavors of a traditional Greek salad but with that extra somethin’ somethin’ aka 🥑🥑🥑 to make your Mediterranean heart happy and healthy. Having clarified this. Let me thank Vicky, who invited me. To Lu (@yoquemebusco2.0) who served and advised me. And finally, Jani and Mila who cooked me. A very tough team. Also, Nacho and Bethlehem who served me the first time I went. That night he didn't give me to get into the kitchen. But surely they have a solid team. Oh and I also want to thank @anita.mena14 for taking me. (Here there was more info but if I do not get the review of the dish, it will come tomorrow)
Now let me tell you a little. After arriving and introducing myself to Lu, Vicky recognized me immediately. And it gave me the opportunity to greet Jani and Mila, the cooks.
Then I sat down and started to see the place, to feel it. The chair was comfortable, the table was at a good height, the music was nice and especially the temperature was perfect. I mean, we are in summer the air is necessary but I'm not a penguin either. Then Lu appeared and I asked him about the best dishes. For me luck we conceived.
From the start was the avocado toast and Creole sauce. And the basic toast was well done. Crispy enough on the outside to hold it while eating it but soft inside. Above some good pieces of ripe avocado. And above it a fair amount of well-made Creole sauce. I say this because I felt the taste of vegetables. They were not covered by vinegar but they had it. Remember that the Creole consists of vegetables with an intense flavor. Then, between the right amount of sauce, softened by the creamy avocado and toasted bread; They achieved a good balance and gave a lot of pleasure. Both for the taste and for eating it without worrying about recessing or throwing it everywhere. Something that is not for less.
I love making guacamole for parties!! It ends up chunky because I don’t blend it, but people seem to like it that way. 🥑 I add chopped onions, tomato or salsa, a squeeze or two of lemon or lime, and a bunch of spices/seasoning- like pepper of many kinds, salt, cumin, and garlic. The cumin is the key!!

I’m baaaaack! Finally I can post again 🙏🏻 . #whatsonmyplate : rice noodles sautéed with lemon and olive oil, one really soft-boiled egg, Brussels sprouts, pois mangetout, beans, half an avocado. Pink himalayan salt, black pepper, add some sarrasin cream not pictured there :)

Dans mon assiette : nouilles de riz sautées avec du citron et de l’huile d’olive, haricots verts, choux de Bruxelles, pois mange-tout, un oeuf (très) mollet, avocat. Sel rose d’himalaya et poivre noir. De la crème de sarrasin par dessus ( pas sur la photo) c’était un délice 😍
