These beautiful Anemone Blue Poppies 💙 have started to pop up everywhere in my garden. (Even though these ones look more purple 💜 than blue to me!) I also have them in white and red.
They are not commonly seen in people’s gardens these days but I’m hoping they make a come back as they are so pretty! 🌟
They are such a simple to care for bulb too and look amazing when planted in mass or planted against contrasting coloured bulbs such as daffodils and tulips. 🌷They also do well in containers.
They reward you with being wonderful for cut flowers and will spread the following years producing more flowers.
Plant in partial shade ⛅️ about 3 inches deep and water 💦 once a week.
So calming and inspirational to be in this succulent and drought-tolerant backyard! I couldn’t help to share these awesome findings...so much to appreciate in the details~😍.

It was nice to see that the families of deer are still occupying the back garden of my childhood home ❤️ Thankfully, the rain broke and I was able to stop and admire the mountains on my way back. All in all, not a bad day trip. I am going to sleep hard tonight!
#broccoli flowers attracting the bees! I let this one go to flower from neglect and it had been a bee haven. All day every day the ladies come by for this sweet sweet pollen. You can eat the flowers, they taste like broccoli!
