I'm really proud of myself for taking a healthy lunch to work 4 day this week🙌 This might not look like much but it's good and I know exactly what's in it.
I was honestly terrified when I learned that the store next to my work will be closed for 1,5 months. I usually buy a salad from there or go for 🍔🍟🍕... And I know that I just cannot eat only crap for the next 1,5 months. .

I cannot tell if I've ever been this beaten down by a fever. I'm so lucky to have two kids that help out when possible ❤ They actually got me cold water yesterday evening when I just didn't have the energy to get it myself. .
Maybe I've actually done something right raising them😄
My Fitbit thinks I've been really active yesterday... fever really takes a toll on your body! (pic 2) I'm feeling better today🤞 But taking it easy. Not straining myself with changing out of my pyjamas for example😂
I'll get back to bbg and all that later. Little disappointed to not be able to finish the #sweat12wc with everyone. I think I'm already 2 weeks behind, or 3...? But I also know that this is a lifestyle not only a 12 week thing. I'm not worried about my progress. That is something I've learned over these past 2+ years. .

One kid fell asleep on the sofa and the other went to bed all by herself😵 Guess they are really sick🤒 This never happens! They haven't taken naps at home in forever. .
BUT I'm sooooo excited about the books that finally came yesterday!🙌 (and yes, still in my pyjamas at 1 pm) Lesson one: Make time to read the books!

Still taking it slow over here. Antibiotics are working and I'm feeling normal, but focusing on letting the pills do their work. At least my resting heart rate is coming down to a normal level. .
I'm missing my workouts and the sweat! I think my workouts for this week will be cleaning the house before Friday and the 6-yo birthday party.🎈

Week18😱 Legs are done. I wasn't feeling it, but I'm in the stage where I just have to do all the workouts before I get that cold (or whatever) my husband has. Bc I will get it, at some point. 😧

Against all odds I got in a workout today! It was a really needed one as my week was filled with sick kids and manflu. My 6yo's (SIX!😱) bday party had to be cancelled and she did not take that well. We were both crying... I've been trying to come up with things to do with half-sick kids to get out of the house. Today that was all those emojies⬆️ #easywayout
I combined the 1mins challenge and week17 abs to a workout. I'm still being really carefull with ab workouts bc of my DR. .
Fingers crossed 🤞that all this working out makes me more resiliant to this bug.

I worked from home today, participating in meetings and baking, helping the kids and making snacks at the same time. I was so ready to go straight to bed when the kids went. But I wanted to do week16 (optional) FullBody 💪 It was a good one! .
Feeling like a winner of this day 😝 3 workouts in for this week, and it's only Thursday. Maybe a challenge and abs tomorrow, if I don't catch the flu/stomach bug from my kids...
I'm so in Love with my new jumper/sweater 😍 I have also done some workouts this week, not only shopping. But got myself some birthday presents 😉🛍
I got 3 workouts in last week as I didn't do arms or abs the week before for week 15. This week I've already done legs and arms. Abs will most likely be added after the next workout. I'm planning to do week15 (optional) full body at the end of this week. It looks kind of a fun workout! Seriously! (Who am I?!?)
Sleep goals are really far away at the moment. I need to do something about it, to get more sleep. I'm tired but constantly find something that needs to be done before going to bed🤔🙃 So, now I'm off to bed😴

This turned out to be a good Monday. I did kind of 1,5 workouts today after kids bedtime. And that means I started at about 9pm... I know, it's late and I should already be in bed by now. (One of the goals I set last week was to get enough sleep...)
I got only ONE workout done last week, plus some excercise minutes according to my Fitbit. I was feeling lazy and too busy with other stuff and got an easy excuse from migraine and tom😧. And feeling little guilty for not working out... BUT, I know by now that I'll get back to it, to this💪 and I did. And I think that finally my head needs more time to find excuses to NOT workout that to just go and workout. Does that make any sense? .

There’s almost exactly a year between these photos. I swear to you that I did not get up this morning and think ‘oh I’ll do a transformation picture from last year’ when I got dressed. (I really didn’t sleep well last night between a teething baby and 2 older kids that woke up a few times separately) so it was a just coincidence that I happened to be dressed in this sweatshirt ... or really a testament to the fact that I am constantly wearing variations on the same outfit 😂. When I took my work out selfie (as one does if you’re a #bbggirl ) and remembered taking a similar picture at the same time last year- I thought, “wouldn’t it be interesting to see if there’s major progress noticeable between the two considering that I’ve only really lost 10 or so pounds this year.” . . . In truth, the transformation isn’t in what you see as much as it is in what you don’t see, for me. It’s hard to explain, but behind that phone is a girl who has met challenges and faced them head on. . . . Time has passed and she didn’t give up. Making progress in conditioning my body has helped me so much this year ... I feel stronger mentally, and physically. . . . . . I wonder what the world would look like if everyone took a look in the mirror and said to the person looking back at them “you’re good enough! ‘keep going! You can do this!!’ What do you say to yourself when you look in the mirror? Either in your head or out loud? Since I did Legs yesterday, I'm focusing on streching today. Arms will be done tomorrow.
And if I'm honest that leg workout yesterday got done purely on aggression and frustration...😧 I got so frustrated last night during bedtime bc kids were acting out, and then lashed out a bit to my hubby, who then got angry with me (can't imagine why...😱🙈), and then I got angry bc he got angry at me. But seriously it wasn't my fault. Buuuuuut I got legs done, so yay? 🤔😁
And now my legs are SO sore!!
These treats are kind-of-healthy, I think. Well a better choise than a regular bar of chocolate...😂 I have a recipe that I modify by adding dates, maca powder and #shesuppsvanilla powder. Sometimes I add seeds too. 😋 . #bbgmomsover35#bbgmoms#100strongsquad

I got Legs done✔ No jumping but a lot of sweat regardless. And a really delicious lunch with the little flu patient. .
I had all kinds of mind games today about my workout. Almost didn't do it. Then I read a couple of posts about nobody going to regret a workout ever, and how you should think how it makes you feel if you don't do it or if you do (@confidentiallykatie ). So I did it. That's what I want to do anyway. Doing nothing doesn't get me closer to where I want to be. So go and get it ladies! I'm off to bed 😴

Not the best start for the week, but it's not about the day of the week, it's about getting it done regardless the day.
It's a new day tomorrow. Today was all about a sick child and doing the bare minimum for work remotely. And catching a well deserved nap on the sofa 😴 .

The desperate attempt to flex my arm pump💪😆
Second workout done this week. I might have made the mistake to add up all the push ups the workout included if everything was done once in the 7mins time... They all add up to 120! 😱 And I managed to do even more💪 All on my knees, but still.
This weeks #100strongchallenge is the most difficult one. Ever. Sounds easy: list the things you love about your mind, body and character. I've listed these once on Monday, and I made an additional challenge to myself to list them at least everyother day. Should be done everyday... .
But I have nothing right now. Nothing. Obliviously I need this challenge.🙈
How is everyone else finding this challenge?
