The progress my boy has made seriously leaves me in happy tears some days. There is something I want you guys to know. When I advise people about Wolfdogs I don’t tell them certain things bc I “know it all”. It’s because I want them to be better than I am. I advise from my mistakes. I didn’t know enough training wise when Saaya was little to tackle some of the bigger struggles we have now. But I do now. And we are working on them. When I give advice it’s to help that next new wolfdog owner be a better owner than I was/am. And that’s what this should always be about. Being better for them. Because they always deserve our best. Saaya makes more eye contact with me now than he ever has before. He’s always looked me in the eyes but not like this. And I feel so full in our moments together when we meet each other halfway. Rain also looks me in the eyes and Moon does too. They all are showing so much trust and effort. I couldn’t be happier with where we all are. And if you note Saaya is looking at my eyes not my hand. Also he’s known “sit” since he was a baby. This wasn’t one of the things we are working on but focus is. •
