Here’s a little about me:
First - don’t judge a book by its cover. I look like an aussie, but my family had my DNA tested and I’m mostly a beagle mix with only a bit of herding dog! When I was first brought to the shelter, my name was actually London. The staff didn’t think that was a good fit, so they changed it to Landon. I love my family, but I’m very nervous around new people. I’m misunderstood because sometimes I’ll growl and snap at people, not because I’m aggressive, but because I’m scared. But my family does a good job making sure I’m comfortable with whoever comes in the house. I like routines and I can get a little bent out of shape when things are switched up. I actually get bent out of shape a lot - I’m a stressball! But besides my little quirks, I love long walks, sleeping, eating, howling at sirens, and squeaky toys.
I’m Landon! I’m almost 5 1/2 years old and I was rescued from @naperhumane ! I had a rough start to life - in my three years, I had been to three different homes. I ended up at the humane society in November 2016, but things weren’t looking well for me. Everyone was very nice to me, but I was still scared of the staff and volunteers, and they were nervous around me. Luckily, two volunteers took the time to get to know me, and it worked out so well that on Christmas Eve 2016, they took me home! I’ve been at my forever home with my forever family for 2 years now. Best Christmas present ever!! #dogsofinstagram#dogs#dogstagram#dogsofinstaworld#beaglemix#rescuedog#rescuedogsofinstagram#adoptdontshop

We just spoke to Chloe’s neurologist, and we have some answers!
Chloe’s MRI results, spinal tap results and her young age have her diagnosis leaning toward epilepsy. This is good news, considering what some of the alternatives could have been.
More good news is that Chloe has not had a seizure in days, so things are looking better for this shy girl.
Chloe will be closely monitored over the next few days as she is weaned down to a more normal medication routine.
Chloe showed some signs of being fearful with her caretakers today. Given what she’s been through in the past few days, and the extreme changes in her life, we will be extra understanding and gentle while getting to know her.
Stay tuned for more updates, as we learn more about beautiful Chloe and her condition.
Thank you for caring , together, we have changed this precious life for the better. 💕🐾 #rbarishelter#helpushelpthem#emergencymedicine#supportyourlocalanimalshelter#oradellanimalhospital#epilepsy#epilepticdog#specialneedsshelterdog#beaglemix#chloe#shydog#betterandbettereveryday ❤️
