Tips to get started in the gym:
▪️Remember everyone starts somewhere.
▪️Make an epic gym playlist to keep you pumped up and focused 🎶.
▪️Set the days and times you go- once a week is better than zero times. ▪️Start somewhere! Even if you only go there for cardio, it's about developing the habit of going. You can work in machines and dumbbells as you become comfortable. ▪️Team up with a buddy for support and accountability.
I talked a coworker into signing up at @planetfitness with me. I was really lost in the gym when I started. It helped to have a friend support me and we held each other accountable. Once I realized I had no idea what I was doing, I searched the internet. YouTube was my best friend! I followed available content until I could learn enough to put my own workouts together. It's amazing how much content is out there!
