T O D A Y . I S . T H E . D A Y!⠀ I used to be obsessed about food. Counting calories. Eating as close to zero calorie "foods" as I could. Diet soda, 100 calorie packs, Smart Ones, sugar free (but artificial sweetener) everything. And then because I was restricting my body of the nutrients it needed, I'd go into full-fledged carb binging. Yo-yoing at it's best. I'm so happy that I am more educated about healthy balanced nutrition now than I was then! That lifestyle wasn't sustainable, and I always felt like I "couldn't have" certain foods, and most of the foods I was eating, I wasn't really enjoying! ⠀
We all know you can't out-exercise a bad diet. As a runner, I was only doing CARDIO and burning tons of calories doing so, but I had NO IDEA how to eat to fuel my body.
