Fifteen miles from Augusta National, the delightful Georgia hideaway of Champions Retreat Golf Club will reveal itself to the world next month at the Augusta National Women's Amateur. Hit the link in our bio to read all about it. (📸: Martin Miller)
Went today to visit our turf reduction work at Annandale CC . Mixture of drip irrigated zones with low density planting in the interiors of the course and in the higher-play areas and native grasslands & wildflowers in zones tying into the natural hillsides adjacent to the golf course. Brian and his staff is doing a great job staying on top of the maintenance and working to grow it in . #golf#beautifulgolfcourses#nativerevegetation#turfreduction
Congratulations to the Champions of this year’s Golf Invitational Presented by Perricone Farms – Team Hospitality 88! Taking it for the second year in a row, they’ve won custom jackets from our Championship Sponsor, @davidaugustclothing! Thanks to every sponsor, player, vendor, volunteer and supporter – the kids are the true winners of today! All proceeds will allow us to do more for those who need it most.
Most of the images I share on IG are the ones that make my heart race in excitement. For me, this image represents all I love about golf and photography. This was shot several night's ago at @bighorngolf. Oh, and If you're wondering why I've been posting so many images from this incredible place lately, it's because I've been on a 3 month photo shoot for the club. I have amassed several hundred images of which I will be sharing for years to come. Consider my feed your vip "all-access" pass to one of the most exclusive and luxurious clubs in the country. I hope you enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed taking them and sharing them.

Continuing onwards with the tour of Yeaman’s Hall Club, we come to the 4th, 5th and 6th holes, titled “Bottle”, “Alps” and one of my favorites, “Redan”. “Bottle” is a 490 yard par 4 that starts to move away from the savannah behind the third green. The land here is relatively flat so, instead of shifting large amounts of dirt, Raynor used an elongated, large, and centralized bunker (the basis for the name of the hole) around 270 yards from the tee box to liven things up and provide some strategy. The large false front makes this hole even more challenging. “Alps,” the 420 yard par 4 5th hole, is peppered with strategically placed bunkers on both the right and left hand side. A well navigated tee ball leaves a short to mid iron approach into a well protected green. The 185 yard par 3 6th hole, “Redan,” has arguably the most challenging green on the golf course. The massive kicker (words don’t do it justice) in or near the center of the green make or break this hole. A well placed draw has a chance to be close, but miss even 5 feet right of the kicker and you will pay for it with a near impossible chip shot over the massive bunker protecting the front left portion of the green. I could stand on this tee box and hit balls all day. Big thanks again to @paladindptgolf for the invite. Holes 7-9 to follow tomorrow! What’s your favorite Redan hole you have played?
@jenniesgolf is at the top of the leaderboard on Day 1 of their home invitational after firing a first round 313. The Jennies are lead by freshman @_mollysaporito who battled back from +3 through 5 holes to card a +2 73. She is your individual leader by two strokes after 18 holes.
Golf SZN has begun...yesterday’s round at #ChardonLakes was the perfect way to kick off the winter rust. There were some good shots, and there were some bad shots....but none of that mattered. All that mattered was that hibernation season is over and it felt damn good to be outside with decent weather #AlwaysBeGolfing
And as always, a blast getting out with @cleveland_golfer. Great conversation about golf and life and what this season has in store. Here’s a hint...it’s gonna be good 🤫🤫
