BOMB ATOMICALLY — first of all, huge thanks to @beerhikechill for hooking me uppppp! This 8.3% double IPA is INSANELY juicy, my gawd 😳 tons of mango and melon flavors, with very little carbonation. The carbonation is there (barely) towards the finish. There’s a hint of bitterness but just enough to balance the faint sweetness. Medium body, gorgeous OJ color to it, minimal head. Great freaking beer. Have you guys had it? I’m sure you have, I’m the one that’s behind on Monkish haha cheers! 🍻
More San Diego juice from the team at @abnormalbeerco! This one is the Hazy Dreams, a 6.9% Hazy IPA brewed with Nugget, Cascade, Mosaic, Simcoe & Citra, while oats & unmalted wheat round out the malt bill and add great body and texture (I sound like a hairdresser 😉). It's loads of citrus - orange and grapefruit dominate - and some lovely resinousness as well. It's a really tasty drop and an awesome example of SD beer. And with the news @moderntimesbeer will soon be imported into Aus as well (should start arriving from May), I say bring on ALL the SD juice! 😁🙌

Early Bird is an interesting milk stout brewed in with coffee and chocolate tones. We didn’t find either or to be more overwhelming. Kicking off the week with ☕️ and 🍺 energy!
Ras El Hanout Shrimp over Kale Tabbuoleh with an ugly ass Saison Brett pan sauce and a Blood Orange Pomegranate Gastrique. The ugly one was better. Paired with an inexpensive DOG Langhe Arneis. The beer deglaze was New Braunfel Brewings Saison de Poive Citron. A Brett fermented lemon Saison rested on tellicherry peppercorns.

It's Monday—time for beer. @greatnotionpdx's Passion Fruit Mochi IPA, fermented with toasted rice, milk sugar, vanilla, and passion fruit. Tons of fruit and sweet vanilla, with bright citrus, and a creamy but well-carbonated body. Always one of my favorites.
Belle couleur trouble avec un col aéré. Nez tropical, ça sent la pêche, la mangue et la papaye. On perçoit aussi un bel houblonnage. En bouche, texture moins riche que je l'aurais cru. C'est encore une fois très fruité. L'amertume semble être contrée par le miel qui a été ajouté. Détrompez-vous, c'est aucunement trop sucré. C'est ultra bien balancé et on perçoit plus l'amertume en finale mais celle-ci tombe rapidement pour laisser un goût de fruit à chair jaune.
