  • I like Instagram so much.
Even though I often complain about the algorithm.
I like this platform because it gives me the opportunity to write about what I feel, from my heart & for your hearts.
To spread words that wouldn't have passed my lips otherwise ecause they adress topics that don't get heard beyond social media.

I found a way to create art, try new things & express myself.

Most importantly: it helps me to connect with other great people. With creators, fighters & survivors.
People, whose stories spread so much encouragement, pride & vulnerability, that inspire me.
I guess that social media is a great place for find inspiration in many ways & profiles for any area of life.

But for someone with chronic illness, it can be tough to find people, who exactly understand what you are going through. Because rare diseases are rare and mostly we are surrounded by healthy people who might listen & care what you're talking about, but do not REALLY understand or feel what you're going through.
And even if you find someone with a similar story, it can't be promised that you both are on the same wavelength. They might be even toxic because we all deal in a different way with our story.

That's why Instagram, is what you make out of it. Who you're following & what you are creating.
For me this platform should be a place of perfect imperfections, honesty & individual beauty.

I can't be more grateful for all the inspiring badass woman (& men & gender non conformatives) I met here online. I can't put in words how thankful I'm that this year, I was able to even meet some of them in person, after long times of texting and long distances between us. {unbezahlte, unbeauftragte Werbung}This weekend I met @nia.lan who also lives with congential heart defect & it felt like we knew each other for a long time already. It great to communicate without needing to ask for understanding, because we exactly know what we both are going through. Thank you, Nia for taking some time for me.

I hope to meet more people 2020.
Insta can be a place of toxic people, the perfect look, house or vacation.
But it can be pure Inspiration & fun to create & connect.

Who did inspire you this year?

  • Wem sagst du viel zu selten "Danke"? Wann war das letzte mal, dass du jemandem dankbar warst und es der Person auch mitgeteilt hast? 💌

  • Insightful Monday blog post is NOW LIVE! Below is a little snippet of the post: “Coming from someone who writes 3 million x’s at the end of a text message, included with 1 million emojis and speaks in a language only my friends understand (harppiii, barbiii, Yaaysss, manysss- I don’t work from the dictionary), I cannot expect every person to reply this way back to me. (This is just one small way we can expect people to be and think the same way as we do)... I think the most flowing way to move through this world is to act and not expect. When we drop our unrealistic expectations, we free ourselves from the distress they can cause”

  • Life is like a big wheel moving from one pod to the next at each stage of your life. The good thing is with this so called life is that, if you have family you get to share it with them. Those precious moments untouchable and stay with you forever until that last pod. Enjoy all those moments even if they are only short and be greatful of this thing called life. You will experience some difficult times like climbing a mountain but you will reach the top all in good time 😉

  • Fear is my biggest #oolablocker 😔 but instead of letting myself be blocked by fear I’ve simply been asking myself...but what if {the opposite of what I’m scared of} happens?” OR what if it does??? What if the worst case scenario happens??? You #havefaith thats what...so weather you think you can or you can’t you’re probably right 🤷🏼‍♀️ don’t let fear keep you from your dreams 🥰 #begreatful #havefaith #liveoola

Deixe-as. " 🙏
