  • I took this picture last week. I haven’t shown my face on here for some time and I just wanted to say - hi. Thank you for tagging along this ride. The connection and community I am finding here is simply wonderful. This journey and sharing parts of it on here has deepened my level of self love so, so much. I am grateful. I am content. I am learning to be one happy human being. These times have been the busiest I have ever been, and still I have to hold myself back from taking on more, and all in all it is so beautiful actually, because this newly ignited passion I feel growing inside of me is like nothing I’ve ever felt before. I go to bed every night beyond tired, but also with this same smile on my face every time. So, so thankful. ⁣

[this all was written before death came along. I still wanted to post this because I still want to honour this process. There are parts of my life and its processes I choose to share here, and there are parts I keep outside of this space.]

ACCOUNTABILITY 🙌
.
When I don't practice selfcare, do my affirmations, eat healthy, listen to my personal development or accomplish my workout routine I start to feel absolutely DEBILITATED.. I literally haven't been able to get out of bed because I have been eating so crappy to "reward" myself for such a good job the past three months. .
In my head, the (insert goal here) is over, so go reward yourself! Drink the sugar! Eat the comfort food! Pahhhty!! Umm, no shannon, get your life together... so intead I went to goodwill, got myself my size 12 pants that I worked so hard to get into from size 18 and remembered how good it feels to have this healthier lifestyle because of #arbonne. Rewards don't need to be just food.

There is no good feeling about getting back into bad habits, BUT IT HAPPENS, WE ARE HUMAN. I am stuck, struggling to get off my couch, because of my crappy sleeping schedule for not STICKING TO MY ROUTINE. I am so tired, sluggish, bloated, my body aches and just a mess, but..small victories, because my TWOnager is actually sleeping 🙌😂.

Get out of your rut because you worked too dang far to be there.. call yourself out, tag your accountability partners, whatever you gatta do, DO IT. If I didn't have my Arbonne business I would easy just fall back into a bad mental health state, but it keeps me going, keeps me accountable, my family and you guys keep me in good faith and push me to show up.
.
Here in this picture I had my house clean, chores done, nailed my routines and FELT good. If you could only see my house now 😂. Just remember to give yourself Grace, you only truly fail if you quit. Get back up, you got this 💪😊! .

On my 4 hour flight this morning from FL-PHX I decided to dive back into the “Power Of Now” a book I bought over 2 years ago and have picked up multiple times never getting around to finishing it. I figured I am about to embark on a new journey so I matters well go into with clear, positive and powerful intentions. .
.
The scripture above really stood out to me after reading it because it is a phrase I say often. “One day my business will be successful enough to support us.” “One day we will have financial freedom.” “One day I will be able to approach each situation calmly.” ONE DAY!
.
.
Myself as well as many others spend so much of our lives focusing on our MASSIVE goals. We put so much of our attention, if not all of it on accomplishing these goals because we think if we could just achieve this it would make us happy. However, lugging around this mind pattern we will never be happy no matter what we achieve; because the present will never be good enough and the future will always seem better to us.

Today and moving forward I choose to be more present and I challenge you to do the same. I choose to be more present in each and every moment and accept the fact that this will mean at first I will go in and out of consciousness and unconsciousness. I choose to HONOR & LOVE where I am now, because the only thing that is even real about our journey’s are the actions we are taking right now; because now is all there ever is.

No more “One day I will make it” statements, we have made it now! I am not letting anything stand in my way because conscious beings can not be swayed even if negative energy is near. I will not be swayed and if you believe and stay consistent in staying present you will not be swayed either.

Choose today to live your most authentic life. I am seeking ONE WOMAN who is motivated AF to embody her highest Self, every chance she gets.

Live in your truth, and you give others the permission to do the same. 🙏🏽✨

Immersing myself in NATURE where I am limited to distractions is one of the ways I RESET myself.

Time will pass. You will get where you want if you stay focused and work. Be still. Be focused. Be in the moment.

Mental health is a one of the bigger issues many people face today. And while there is certainly a time and place for Western Medicine, I always prefer to practice 1)preventative methods and 2)natural/holistic remedies first.

I think everyone struggles with mental health in some way. (some more sever than others of course) We are all human beings filled with tons of emotions. So it really is important that we all practice some sort of coping mechanisms (even if you don’t currently have any mental health issues) #staypreventative in order to maintain or improve mental health.

  • THE STORY OF THE INVISIBLE ROAD

After being in Costa Rica for 2 months, I left the comfort of the little beach town I’d been in since I arrived to explore the country. 
On my drive, I came to a little town where one of the main roads was blocked, and Google Maps was showing me a different route to get back on the main road. 
I followed the guidance, and I came to an unpaved road that eventually led me down into the bank of a river. 
There didn’t seem to be a road there so I backed up, and went back from where I came, expecting Google to re-route me and find another way.

Google did, and this road seemed more promising but it ended up taking me to the exact same spot, just on the other side of the river bank!

So I backed up again, and this time I asked the Universe for help. 
Within seconds, I saw a 4 wheel truck coming up behind me. I backed up to the side to allow him to pass, and to see exactly where HE was going. He stopped right by me and he told me that I simply needed to drive THROUGH the river and get on the gravel road on the other end of the river bank. 
I must’ve looked a bit dumbfounded because he straight out laughed at me, and nodded encouragingly, so I followed him through the river onto the other side.

What was confirmed from this experience:
1. Just because you “see” an obstacle in front you, it doesn’t mean there is one. If you allow yourself to look BEYOND the paradigm, you’ll see a way to the other side.
2. Listen and trust when you receive guidance about your path. Stop backing up the car. You’re receiving the guidance for a reason. 
3. When you do find yourself in a place of doubt, ask the Universe for help. You’ll be surprised at how quickly She responds. 
What seems invisible can always be made visible when you choose to see it.

Do you ever take a moment to be present with the earth you’re standing on. Everything your feet touch once lived in the mind of its creator before it came to be. 
From concrete path ways, the carpet in your office, the wooden floors in your house, the shoes on your feet, and of course the most magnificent creation of all, the earth that supports our every moment here.

How cool is it that everything you touch is a creation from someone’s idea. 
Yet how many of you go about your day not being aware of this? I know I do! 
I get caught up in life and forget how exciting it is to LIVE! 
When you bring mindfulness into your every day life, it brings a sense of present appreciation to everything around you. .
So today I invite you to bring mindfulness around everything your feet touch, take just two seconds to be present with it, thank it, and move on with appreciation. .
