Forestbathing in nature
In Japan, to immerse yourself in a forest atmosphere, called Shinrin-yoku (森林 浴) in Japanese and Mandarin, Sanlimyok (산림욕) in Korean, is to make a visit to a forest encouraging the awakening of the five senses. And in Spain, being in a forest atmosphere, called "Forest Bath".
In 2007, Master Samurai Spain, pioneer 侍 in Europe in the practice of Shinrin-yoku, and President of the International Forest Medicine @internacional_forest_medicine He moved to live in the Forest, where he began his research studies fascinated by nature and the benefits with the practice of Shinrin-yoku. What a morning, alone and totally isolated, I awoke to the sound of ancient pencil pines rustling in the wind. The sun hadn't risen, but there was just enough light to make out wombats grazing on the outskirts of the forest. I sat and watched as the first rays illuminated Solomon's Throne.
This is the first image I've posted from my solo hiking trip through Tasmania. I spent one month alone in the wilderness. Looking forward to sharing more of my experiences in this truly incredible place.
