Oh hello. My name is Torino, I’m not a whippet and I’m not a puppy, and yes I’m limping because I have a sore leg after breaking it in August last year and I’m not 100% healed yet. I’m 1 year and 3 months old and pretty much fully grown. Yes, I’m cute, and adorbs, and little and small, even though I may look big in my photos, I’m only 4 kilos. Yes my legs are thin and long and no I’m not skinny or underfed. I’m shaking and my tail is between my legs coz I get cold easily or I’m scared because there are yelling children around or the wind is blowing in the trees or a tiny dog with a big bark is asserting his authority. I get along with a lot of dogs but I play really well with others like me. No, my parents aren’t being precious about me, they are just being careful so I don’t hurt myself because I am delicate and even though I have insurance, it causes a lot of heartache and pain if something happens. Plus, insurance doesn’t cover it 100% so it still costs them a lot of money if I do hurt myself. Yes I am also on Instagram, I post every day, my comments and my DM’s are my voice, so you’re talking to me. No, the chances are that I will not DM you to collaborate but you are welcome to DM me. I squat when I pee but I’m learning to lift my leg like a big boy from my friend Bart. I love going on adventures, swimming, stand up paddle boarding, going to daddy’s work, doggy daycare and Nonna’s house. I like a lady named Roo, she is beautifoo. Snuggling is my favourite pass time especially when I’m stinky and the bed sheets are clean. I brush my teef before bed most nights, only coz I don’t mind the taste of the tooth paste. I have 3 bird siblings, a bird cousin and my auntie and uncle are cats. I sometimes poo inside. My daddy is a pet photographer and he took this photo of me.
My name is Torino, and I’m an Italian Greyhound.

If you ever wondered what a raw fed puppy looks like 💪🏼⠀
This is Presley at 14wks vs Bowie at 14wks (swipe). If you've watched my stories, you know that B & P are both fed raw diets. I made the switch for Bo when he was 6 months old, and Pres has been fed raw from the start. I've been amazed by the change in Bo and by the difference between the two of them as pups.⠀
Disclaimer: I never want to be someone who claims my choices are best. I truly believe every dog owner must do what feels right for them, and I only hope the decisions we all make for our fur babies are made out of research, informed opinions and love. ⠀
Bowie was a lean puppy that had a hard time putting on healthy weight. He had soft stool, and I tried everything to remedy that. After a lot of research, I decided to switch to a raw diet, but I was scared. I don't trust the farming industry in the US. I don't trust the sourcing used by most commercially prepared raw diets. I wanted to make sure my puppy was getting nutritionally balanced & complete meals void of risk to his health. He was not thriving on kibble, and feeding it did not feel good. My research led me to stumble across @sfraw - a raw food supplier that only sells wild, heritage, pasture-raised, grass-finished and organic products from local family farms that practice humane, organic, sustainable, and pastured farming methods. I feel like I hit a goldmine with them, and have not since looked back. I consulted with my vet while making the switch, and she has been very supportive.⠀
For my dogs, the results speak for themselves. Bowie put on muscle, developed more energy, his coat grew in thicker & glossier, his teeth are white & clean, he doesn’t have bad breath and his poop is small & solid! As a kibble fed pup, Bowie had a distended belly and no muscle mass. Presley is strong and lean, and his coat is thicker than Bowie's was. He has grown at a steadier pace which is less demanding on his joints. Beyond all of this, they both LOVE the food. It feels good to provide them with such excitement and variety. They eat better than I do! LOL.⠀
Anyways, thank you for sharing in our journey. I am always happy to answer questions!
Leave it all out there on the race course and don’t hold back. ❤️💪 #workingdog#bikejoring

This was one of my favorite photos from Bristol Dryland last October. It perfectly captures Marge in full flight for the finish line and displays just how totally happy she is to run. This is her job — what she’s bred to do, and like most people, she thrives on having a purpose in life. This dog would run to the ends of the earth for me, and I would do the same for her. The bond you share with dogs in any dog sport is incredible, working together as a team. With all these PETA nutzos and AR extremists coming after my sport of sled dog racing, it is more important than ever to practice good sportsmanship, excellent dog care, and educate not only about sled dog racing, but other dog sports as well.
