On Easter I ate a substantial amount of chocolate. I may have eaten my body weight in chocolate.😁 After inspecting the tin of chocolates (that got mailed to our home by some really cruel hearted person) my husband was like, “Really?! You didn’t even save any of those for Kaili and I to try?”🍫 And there I stood, probably with the undeniable proof right on my face, melted chocolate on my chin, replying, “Geez. I’m sorry. I ate the entire stack of the chocolate carmel ones.” Guess what?
I’m human! And I freaking LOVE chocolate. And it was Easter for goodness sakes! (Plus John and Kaili don’t love chocolate like I do anyways. 😉) And...
Everyone knows that holidays are a free pass to eat whatever the heck you want. Guilt free. 🐣

And the next day was Monday anyways. And everyone knows Monday is THE day to start eating healthy again. LOL🤣

But here is where Imma throw the next truth bomb:

Is that eating all that chocolate on Easter happened on Easter for goodness sakes.

I didn’t take Easter with me into the rest of April, May, and forever more. Do you hear what I’m saying?

I woke up Monday and felt like crap. Total sugar hangover. I was crabby and didn’t feel my chipper self. 
And I learned that I am still learning. I reminded myself that I am still a human being (one who really loves chocolate) who isn’t perfect. 
And I carried on.

I didn’t hit the floor crying. Pounding my hands and feet on the floor and wining and complaining that I will never get this right and that I might as well quit living a fit, healthy life.

I didn’t say why even try another day if I can’t get this perfect on Easter.

I didn’t complain and beat myself up. I asked myself what was the lesson learned here and how can I do better next time.

Hey,
If you were driving to Disneyland, family and excited kids all loaded up in the car, and you blew a tire on the way, would you call it a done deal and head home?  Never to adventure the happiest place on earth. 
Or would you fix the dang tire and keep going?

I know that when I am 88 years young I will be living the fit and healthy lifestyle. 
I know that when I am in my 90s I will be banging out pull ups and

  • My girlfriend is again thinking:"Does he have to flex in front of every mirror?" Well,  I absolutely have to!  Especially now since my weight is going down and i'm getting tighter.

This weekend is being spent at Budapest so I'm not going to eat how I shuold for these couple days.
