It’s in the moon 🌙
Laddieesss! (While we are on the topic of grounding today) This one is for you, and we are going to be talking about our menstrual cycles. Aunt Flo, The Rag, The Crimson Tide, how does this have ANYTHING to do with the topics commonly discussed here? Well, did you know, every woman is inadvertently connected to the earth so much so that when we have a healthy period, it’s on a 28 day cycle, JUST LIKE THE MOON! That’s right, a little something they don’t teach you in sex ed... When we become ungrounded or too disconnected from our roots it often messes with our cycles because we’ve lost our attachment to the moon. A little far fetched? I thought so too. Personally I never had a regular period, even with synthetic hormones (aka birth control). When I became devoted to my spirituality I threw all my medications away, including my birth control (and no, I’m not saying you should toss away anything without consulting your doctor first). I reconnected with Mother Nature and like magic (pun intended) here I am on a 28 day cycle for the first time in my life (every New Moon, I expect my lady time). How wild is that!? Before we tracked our periods on apps and calendars our ancestors tracked it by the moons phases. So next time you’re Riding the Cotton Pony, take a peek at the moon 🌝. #grounding#sharkweek#bloodmoon#ladytime#menstrualcycle#empoweringwomen
#tbt to a full blood wolf moon eclipse that managed to fill the vacant sky in SW New Hampshire back in January . The -20 degree wind was uncaring as @lubadrozd and I struggled to set up a seldom used telescope outside of Colony Hall at Macdowell. 🐺🌒🔭 @macdowellcolony#bloodmoon#lunareclipse
Live every day like you’ll never see it again, being strong and keep on living is the way forward. Fuck who never believe in you, those people are too square too cubed to even see the bigger picture of who you want to be.
