Decided to join in on this wonderful #SUPyoga challenge to support the girls over at @yogaquaventura in celebration of their 1 year anniversary 🎉 what an accomplishment!! #mermaidsbylandandsea

For day 1 we have skandasana - an amazing hip opener! Practicing yoga on a SUP is sure to activate smaller stabilizer muscles that you wouldn’t usually use while practicing on land. There’s one of the many benefits of taking your practice to the water :) skandanasa is one of those poses that requires great focus, stability and balance. For you expecting mamas out there - skater lunge is a great addition to malasana (yogi squats) in preparation for the big day! 🤰🏼
