  • Sme večne nespokojní. Vadia nám široké boky, krivé prsty na nohách, odstávajúce uši, malé prsia, veľké zadky... že sme príliš chudí, príliš tuční. Vadí nám to ale kvôli sebe? Alebo kvôli tomu, že sa mi kamarátka smiala, že by som nemala nosiť žabky 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ Alebo preto, že nejaký idiot poznamenal, že veľkosť džínsov na môj zadok neexistuje. Vadí nám to všetko, lebo sami cítime, že chceme zmenu? Alebo preto, že sa bojíme kritiky a posmeškov ostatných? Dosť často to rozoberám, ale nerozumiem tomu. Nedávno mi písalo dievča, ktoré si kúpilo ružové tenisky na suchý zips, ale jej spolužiačky sa jej posmievali, že je to detské. A tak ich prestala nosiť. Tento popis je plný chaotických myšlienok, ale chcela som ním povedať len to, že ak vás ľudia neustále hodnotia a hovoria ako by ste nemali to či ono, zamyslite sa, prečo sa to páči vám. Žijete pre seba, nie ostatných. A ešte malý dovetok: keď sa ráno zobudíš vedľa človeka, ktorý sa na teba pozerá ako na jedinú svojho druhu, pochopíš to celé stokrát lepšie ako cez môj motivačný citátik 😂♥️ A druhý dovetok: Všetky (všetci) ste krásne iným a jedinečným spôsobom, prestaňme si namýšľať hlúposti. (Mimochodom po štátniciach spúšťam jeden projekt, takže, ak sa chcete zapojiť ako modelovia, modelky napíšte do komentáriku 🔥)

  • Ich denke wir sollten uns alle mehr darauf fokussieren, unseren Körper so zu lieben und vor allem zu akzeptieren(!) wie er ist.
Klar kann man trainieren gehen, sich schminken, oder "vorteilhaft" kleiden aber im Endeffekt sollten wir nicht versuchen jemand zu sein der wir nicht sind. Wir sollten nicht versuchen wie jemand anderes zu sein sondern unsere eigene Individualität mit Stolz tragen.🌼🌈
Dazu muss (meiner Meinung nach) aber jeder von uns noch lernen, andere nicht zu verurteilen oder klein zu reden. Wir alle machen es hin und wieder.

Egal ob jemand "ein Lauch" ist, kleine Brüste oder einen flachen Arsch hat, ob jemand dünne Beine hat oder Cellulite und Dehnungssteifen.
Egal ob jemand sich langweilig kleidet oder "zu übertrieben".
Grade jetzt zum Sommer: Ist es nicht egal ob jemand Weiß oder Braun ist?

Ich denke, die meisten sehen das genauso und trotzdem passiert es noch in jedem von uns, dass wir hin und wieder solche negativen Gedanken über anderen haben. Auch mir...

  • Do you struggle with body image and the inevitable comparison trap?  Trust me, you aren't alone. So many of us women fall into this negative way of thinking about ourselves.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The truth is, I spent 30+ years thinking bad things about myself and my body. I thought if I could only lose 20,30, 50+ pounds ... then I would be worthy and beautiful. I went on diet after diet, punishing myself for my percieved shortcomings and miserably comparing my body to other women's out in public or on social media.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I thought losing all that weight would magically make me happy. That I would automatically 'fit in'. The truth is, even 80+ lbs lighter sometimes isn't enough. I can catch myself thinking oh if I just lost a little more ... then I'll be perfect.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Oh boy, don't even get me started on being 'perfect.'⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being real, when you get to your goal its easy to think it's not enough. It's taken me 2+ years to create a healthier relationship with food and my body to realize that there is no perfect size. No perfect weight. There is just healthy & strong and feeling WORTHY without strings or expectations or judgement.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I know it's hard to struggle with body confidence and learn how to make positive & healthy decisions about your health and your body. And if that is you, I encourage you to find a coach, trainer or maybe even counselor who can help you improve your relationship with your body.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Every person has different metabolic rate(BMR) which influences how fats and carbs get utilized. An imbalance may cause health problems. So never ignore any warnings your body might show.

So what’s the best solution? Exercise regularly and eat balanced diet! Keep fit!

• If someone throws a ball it'll most likely land in a different spot than the ball a different person threw.⁣
• If someone takes a test out of 100 their score will more than likely not be the same as the other people who took the same test in the same amount of time. ⁣

No one can tell you what will happen other than you'll feel good but I'm not a fortune teller. I can't tell you your journey. Nor can or should you compare your journey to anyone else's and the speed at which their results were achieved. ⁣

  • I didn’t wear anything sleeveless for about 15 years!!!!!!! Not any more, it’s a beautiful day in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 (and goodness knows we need to make the most of those here!!) so those armpits are feeling some fresh air & I’m going to have loads of fun with my furry BFF E-Dawg & my besties 👬at the beach.

  • CHANGE YOUR MINDSET.

To grow up with my dad is to learn that books can solve almost any problem. So it’s no surprise that while talking with him about some of my recent struggles he said “I’m going to send you a book!” Two days later this arrived. It’s so easy to focus on what’s going wrong. To wallow in your own self pity. To focus on imperfections. A negative mindset has a psychological and physiological effect on our ability to feel good, stay healthy and be happy!

This book and gratitude journaling are helping me learn to focus on the positive. I truly believe that positive energy begets more positive energy. I am capable of CHOOSING HAPPINESS.

So it’s no surprise that while talking with him about some of my recent struggles he said “I’m going to send you a book!” Two days later this arrived. It’s so easy to focus on what’s going wrong. After a few days relaxing, sleeping a bit better and going “off diet” my body has finally got more definition and my shape I think has improved?? Just goes to show rest is soooo important 🙌🏼 Hope you’re all enjoying the sun today ☀️
