  • Is Instagram fake all over?

I’ve heard so many people say they don’t believe in Instagram Marketing.  Instagram feels fake to them – a place where Instagram bloggers post perfect pictures about their perfect life. They say that this vanilla content makes them feel unsatisfied by their own lives.
I completely understand that feeling. I feel that way too while scrolling through some Instagram feeds and wondering: why I am not as successful and beautiful as all these people?

I agree that many people want to create a perfect image of their life on Instagram that has nothing to do with reality. But it is not Instagram’s fault. This is happening in real life too, don’t you think?  Social Media is just a reflection of the real world. People try to fake it in real life too, but online it is much easier to do.

This is our choice of how to appear on Instagram – real or fake. Only we choose what we share and how much we share. Only you decide whom to follow – the real people or fake bloggers. Instagram is huge. No, it is HUGE!!

Celebrities and bloggers with perfect bodies are only a small part of Instagram. 99% of Instagram is real people who quietly share their photos among friends and families. Often times they don’t even post, only scroll and comment. Among these people you could find real gems – amazing, exceptional, brave souls you’d be happy to be friends with in real life.
This is the real beauty of Instagram and social media – that we can find likeminded people you have no chance of meeting in your offline environment.

That’s what is happening to me all the time. I’ve found such inspiring people on social media who changed my life for the better, and I’ve learned a lot from them.

So, my answer to people who think that Instagram is evil and its only purpose is to make them feel sick –  this is just not true. Please, don’t give up easily, but go deeper!  Engage with people on Instagram as you do in real life. Make friends. And I guarantee that you will see the beauty of Instagram – the warmest and friendliest social media.

2. Progress Photos - Find a way to get across to your audience that if they work with you, you are going to help them transform and you can show them real proof of that transformation.⁣

3. Behind the Scenes - It shows a more human side and will really help you build that strong relationship with potential customers.⁣

4. Lifestyle - Lifestyle images are fairly similar to behind the scenes, but they are more personal and not necessarily related to your business. ⁣

5. Value Content - This is a catch-all for any type of post on Instagram that your audience is going to get value from and this should make up at least 50% of the content you post on your feed. ⁣

6. Humor - A little bit of humor goes a long way. Use it sparingly, because you want the overall feel of your Instagram feed to be about value, quality and your brand. ⁣

7. Video - I’ve found that users interact more with videos rather than pictures so don’t be afraid to use this feature! ⁣
