I remember it like it was yesterday when I was 13-14 and my old coach @melquigalvaobjj would put me in absolute with adults much bigger than me and I was just so excited, I always thought it was cool, I always liked challenges and things that everyone found difficult. Very excited for this year and no matter what happens, I will always be in the absolute because for me, it’s the best part of the tournament. Just the beginning!

Wilder’s trip to the hospital required him to get some stitches in his ear and his trainer indicates that the “cut” may have affected his equilibrium. 😵 I think it was more likely that the repeated punches to the head may have been the cause for his imbalance 😬
