  • I’d be surprised if anyone has moved to Australia and not explored the great outdoors yet. Here’s one of our favourite finds called Jump Rock at Macquarie Pass near Wollongong. It’s a 30 minute hike to this gorgeous swimming spot. There’s a rock to jump into the water (can you spot the person jumping in?) and there’s even a natural slide which takes you down into the water. Perfect ❤️ if you’re looking to explore this gem on Anzac Day or on the weekend, check out our Top 9
Wild Swimming Spots In Sydney which includes this one. Link in bio to read 👈🏻

  • 30--- The Jews call ´Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah´s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

31---They take their priests and their anchorites to be their lords in derogation of Allah, and (they take as their Lord) Christ the son of Mary; yet they were commanded to worship but One Allah: there is no god but He. Praise and glory to Him: (Far is He) from having the partners they associate (with Him). 32--- Fain would they extinguish Allah´s light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow but that His light should be perfected, even though the Unbelievers may detest (it). 33--- It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it). 34--- O ye who believe! there are indeed many among the priests and anchorites, who in Falsehood devour the substance of men and hinder (them) from the way of Allah. And there are those who bury gold and silver and spend it not in the way of Allah: announce unto them a most grievous penalty-

Quran (Tevbe 30...34)

  • One more #earthday gem, this time from Glacier National Park. This place is to die for. So green. So majestic. So peaceful. This is what Earth day symbolizes.

  • Pacific Crest Trail | Day 7 | Hiked 17.5 mi | mile 101.1 / 2650
We slept in a windy spot, once again, but this time was more restful. After watching our tent’s poles bend in the wind, Amos and I decided to take the rainfly off and... what do ya know... that worked! We no longer feared waking up to a broken tent. That morning we met back up with our friend Silver and hiked to the first legit water cache in a waterless stretch and refilled our bottles in thanks to lovely #trailangels!! After “cameling up,” we reached the 100 mark and camped lower in the valley. Hooray! Trees again, and water and frogs chirping into the night. I was surprised to find trail angels doing trail magic at camp. Oh how nice it is to eat an orange after days of dried and dehydrated food! Plus, I always enjoy the company of kind locals, passionate about what they do and serving others. They inspire me to be and do better.

  • I am not good at up hill hikes, so getting up Queenstown Hill was a Mental and physical struggle. I got there though and it was 100% worth it for the views. I’m so proud of me for not turning around and going home every time I wanted to (which was every 5 minutes). 🏔

  • #ThereisnoPlanetB 🌎 This #EarthDay, I hope many of us open our eyes and realize that we need to take more steps in helping keep our beautiful planet alive. We take it for granted so much. It gives us life and we tarnish it with our selfish, wasteful ways. I’m definitely not perfect when it comes to being more sustainable/eco friendly. But I’m trying harder everyday and I hope you can too! Whether it’s putting more plant-based foods on your plate, recycling/upcycling, leaving no trace outside, offsetting your travel, etc., we could all try harder and do more for our amazing planet.💚

  • Happy Earth Day! I’m thankful to have seen so many beautiful places that this Earth has to offer. Let’s clean it up, protect it and nourish it so that it can do the same for us. After all, it is our only one! Do your part and keep striving for a cleaner world.

  • Treat every day like it's Earth Day! 🌎 Did you know that most of my packaging comes from reusing other materials? I'm constantly saving boxes, newspaper, filler, etc. to wrap up my pieces. In my personal life we have been trying to make a conscious effort to use less plastic and say no to straws. The planet won't be around forever and I love being able to use nature as my inspiration and a creative outlet.

  • I woke up at 3:30am for this road trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park. You can bet that I drank copious amounts of coffee to keep me alert (one full travel mug of coffee, two cold brews, and one triple draft latte...but who’s counting?).
•
Today I’m celebrating Earth Day AND National Park Week with @lacolombecoffee and @goparks! La Colombe had partnered with the National Park Foundation to protect and preserve our country’s natural, historical and cultural spaces. $.10 from every specially marked Lyon box of coffee beans will be donated to the National Park Foundation! #KeepAmericaWild #LaColombe #sponsored

  • Waking up in our tent at over 9,000ft on the side of Oregon's tallest mountain. Views like these are what makes it well worth the hike!

  • Happy Earth Day from Trails Inspire! Our founder Sirena Rana Dufault was doing research for her upcoming book on the best Day Hikes on the Arizona National Scenic Trail in the Grandest of Canyons this weekend and took this time-lapse from Skeleton Point on the South Kaibab Trail/AZT. She also got some great photos for the book which will be out Spring 2020 with @wildernesspress. Skeleton Point is the first view of the Colorado River through Grand Canyon on the South Kaibab Trail
.
.
The Navajo, Hopi, Havasupai, Paiute, Hualapai, Zuni, White Mountain Apache and Yavapai Apache are all traditionally associated tribes in the Grand Canyon region.

  • Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been shooting hiking, running, biking, and equestrian trails for @lacountyparks With 4,083 acres of coast, forests, chaparral, deserts, canyons, and mountains #LACounty has to be one of the most diverse natural landscapes anywhere on Earth. That being said, with over 10million residents, 7.8million vehicles, and 3.5million homes this region relies heavily on #conservation and environmental protection efforts not only for its #environment, and #natural resources, but for every living thing that’s dependent on clean air, water, and soil here. Including humans. Everyday should be #EarthDay #🌎 #LA #losangeles #socal #california

  • You don’t need to be in Yellowstone or Yosemite or Zion. You don’t have to go to whatever location is trending on Instagram this year. ‘Epic’ and ‘beautiful’ and ‘unreal’ all have more to do with perspective and experience than they do with any specific place.

If you don’t believe me, go somewhere that you don’t have preconceived ideas about. Go somewhere that you haven’t seen plastered all over the feed we’re scrolling through.

Go outside tonight. Look at the moon. It’s Wild. 🌕

  • Day 233 - #OnlyThingTravel
These parrots are living in Christopher Columbus’ house so I can only assume a witch trapped his soul in a magical parrot and he continues to look over his maps and lamps and, like, whatever else he owned.

  • Earth Day. I have mixed feelings about only giving one day back to this beautiful place this planet that we call home. Every day should be about the earth, every day we should focus on planting more trees and cleaning more trails and every day we should be spending time cleaning our rivers and oceans. I’ll be getting out on a few upcoming trail clean ups and if you use the parks and trails — maybe look into organizing a trail cleanup in your local area. It’s the little things that will eventually go the longest way, even if all we get is one day📍Goblin Valley State Park, Green River Valley, Utah #everydayearthday
