  • It feels like 2019 is flying by! Q2 is well underway and a lot has happened for us this year, so we decided it was time for a goal check-in. It feels good to stop and reflect on the business and think about what's going well - sometimes we forget to celebrate those small victories! - and think about what areas could use improvement.

  • If you want to become an Entrepreneur, you need to understand the definition of "Entrepreneur".

With that being said lets start with what society thinks about entrepreneurs.
How society views entrepreneurs:
🚫Greedy and selfish.
🚫Parties and luxury.
🚫Taking advantage of employees while doing zero work.

I hope your aware that this stereotype is formed by people who have never actually run their own business. This is why this perception is so far from the truth.

Now heres the real version of what being an entrepreneur is like:
✅Waking up before everyone else and going to bed after everyone else.
✅Hard work and constant focus on the next move.
✅Huge sacrifices and extreme discipline.

This is the average life of a businessman. 
When you see us travelling, having fun and living in luxury you are only seeing the fruits of our labour. You only see the rewards that our hard work earned us.
You dont see the lonely nights, endless challenges and pressure we face on a daily basis.

I used to be that guy.
Hating on entrepreneurs.
🚫Thinking they were all greedy.
🚫Thinking they were all corrupt.
🚫Thinking they didnt deserve the life of luxury.

Boy was I fucking wrong. I started my journey as an Entrepreneur in 2018 and realised how tough it was🤦‍♂️
I went through blood, sweat and tears until I started respecting business owners and the hard work they put in 365 days a year.
So next time you see us having fun and living the "good life". Remember this post. 
You can only live like a boss if you work like a boss✈️

  • The tiniest of peeks from today’s Brand Reveal for a bespoke print company based in Qatar.
If you’ve seen my stories from today, you’ll know about this project - it represented a unique challenge as it had to be developed in both English and Arabic! And you probably won’t be surprised to hear that I know diddly squat about Arabic. Well, until this project, anyway. We learnt lots working on this brand. We learnt that Arabic lettering is beautiful and nuanced; that it’s steeped in meaning and tradition, and that different styles have different rules. We chose a Kufic style within the primary logo, which featured some beautiful diamond shapes. These subtle diamonds turned into the cornerstone of the brand, which includes structured, geometric shapes such as this one along with the graceful flow of patterns created using paper marbling. I’m excited to share the full brand with you soon!

You’ve got about 10 seconds to attract a prospect in your message so it’s critical to focus on the purpose of your message & sprinkle a little charm in there. Instagram is a great tool to connect people directly with who they want to work with! If you have ever dreamed about working with a power house brand whether this be for a collab, potential partner, maybe a podcast... it all starts with that FIRST message! Opportunities are endless, I promise you! I’ve landed DREAM gigs with people that I never could have imagined working with all through a quick little message. Now I’m helping people just like you do the same!
