“The person in life that you will always be with the most, is yourself. Because even when you are with others, you are still with yourself, too! When you wake up in the morning, you are with yourself, laying in bed at night you are with yourself, walking down the street in the sunlight you are with yourself. What kind of person do you want to walk down the street with? What kind of person do you want to wake up in the morning with? What kind of person do you want to see at the end of the day before you fall asleep? Because that person is yourself, and it's your responsibility to be that person you want to be with. I know I want to spend my life with a person who knows how to let things go, who's not full of hate, who's able to smile and be carefree. So that's who I have to be.”

I was scared of the night for the first couple weeks of postpartum. Would he sleep? Would we sleep? Was my husband going to be overtired for work the next day? Is this going to last forever? A lot of the first few weeks has been about changing my perspective on this phase of life. It has been realizing that this time won’t last forever and that while there are hard moments, there are also moments that I will never get back once the night is passed. And so I’ve learned to start enjoying the night as much as I can. Enjoying the peaceful moments at night when it’s just me, him and dad pushing through together. And in the night is also where I’m growing the most. Letting go. Recognizing that I can and will survive this. Increasing in thankfulness and being as present as I can be. So, friends, whatever your night looks like right now, remember that it won’t last forever. And maybe there’s something important for you to find in the night. Something to learn. Something that will grow you. Something that is taking you closer and closer to the dawn.

“If there is no self-love—no recognition of the beautiful and holy spark within—there’s no way you can truly love or give to another.”

What is the only constant throughout our lives?
What is the only one thing we cannot live without?
Everything changes in the course of a lifetime; our bodies, our minds, our feelings, our environment, our work, family and friends.
What remains the same?
What remains present?
What is the only Truth?
We learn how to walk and how to talk as children but we are rarely taught how to breathe, the single most important thing in our lives. Simply sit quietly with the breath and ancient truths will be revealed. Use it as your anchor into the present, releasing all delusions of the past and future. Use it as a gateway into Bliss, back into love.
Every moment we have the choice to come back to it, to move with it, to become it. 💨🌌

Senti che stai dando energia all’esterno, all’universo. .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Senti che stai ricevendo energia all’interno. .⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Have you been taking notice of how important sleep health is? Sleep deprivation can lead to a host of issues.👇🏼⠀
Concentration, irritability and mood swings are on the milder side of things, but more seriously higher risk of heart disease, diabetes, depression and anxiety are all linked to lack of sleep. ⠀
As a essential part of our health and mental well-being, getting enough sleep should be high on the priority list. ✏⠀
Some simple techniques to try if you suffer with a busy brain at nighttime:⠀
1. 📱 Shut of electronics before bed - are you in screen addiction denial? Light from screens suppresses the sleep-inducing hormone, Melatonin.⠀
2. 🧘🏻♀️Meditate yourself to sleep - using deep breaths, relaxation and visualisation can be a very successful technique in winding down. It can also be good to Try writing down your thoughts, anything that is bothering you, once you're done, rip out the page from your notebook and throw it in he bin, releasing all the negativity from your thoughts. ⠀
3. 🌱 Essential Oils - Certain oils such as lavender, slang-ylang and jasmine can have a powerful sedative effect on us, especially when combined with meditation. I love the range from @madeforlifeorganics to enjoy in a hot bath. They are can release the tension in your muscles to promote relaxation, combat stress and induce a pleasant rest. ⠀
Do you have a sleep routine? Have you had insomnia and combatted it holistically? Let me know any tips you have.⠀

Grounding Technique: with bare feet standing on grass, sand or stone
Close your eyes
Take several deep breaths into your lower abdomin
Feel the sensation of the natural earth on your bare skin; the temperature, any moisture palpable, the texture
Feel the weight of your feet plant into the earth •
Visualise roots growing out from the soles of your feet and spreading through the earth below you; adjusting the speed the roots move, the thickness of the roots
Imagine smaller shoots emerging from the larger roots and spreading far and wide •
Enjoy this visualisation and couple it with deep abdominal breathing for an effective grounding technique. Particularly useful for sensitive people and alleviating periods of increased anxiety
Very few things in life are absolute. The events of your life and the meaning of each experience you have is all dependent on what you focus on. How incredible is it that we have the power to alter our very interpretation of any event or situation in our lives as either negative or positive. We are in control. That means that we can choose to make any event... even the very worse ones, the ones that are causing us stress or disease into something that no longer create pain for us. We have that power. We can litterally change an entire experience for ourselves and in turn create a much more positive experience overall. A better life.
How do you do this?
By changing what you focus on, details about the way you perceive. By laughing, by changing your physiology, or using postural changes or movements in the body, these are all key in adopting a more positive outlook on any situation in life. Sit up straight. Smile at a stranger. Go for a run. Get a gym membership. Do yoga.
These changes can be made TODAY. It doesn't have to take years of suffering or therapy. It is a choice that is made by you! Right now! How amazing is that?
See if you can apply this in any way to your life and watch as the magic unfolds. ✨
Focus on where you want to go, not on what you fear.
Life can be a really beautiful experience, if you allow it to be! ✨
Ever notice how we focus on the sunrise or sunset....
The beginning and ending, life and death.
Sunrises are such a beautiful reminder that each day begins anew, new energies, new possibilities.
Sunsets remind us to let the day go, to let go of all energies no matter whether we perceive them to be positive or negative.
And what happens in between is a succession of 'now' moments. There is no where to get to, nothing to achieve, only a myriad of 'feelings' to experience.
Doesn't this help to make life feel a little more simple.
Come and discover how powerful your breath is by experiencing a full Transformational Breath®️ session.

Who else is feeling all kinds of crazy at this time of year? I’m being pulled in so many directions I don’t have any bandwidth for more. So this is a reminder as much for myself as it is for you, don’t forget to breathe! Hang in there, mamas. 💗
Autumn mornings, when the sun is trying to greet you. It’s cold but how can a sky like this not put a smile on your face and a spring in your step. Take a moment to look up, take a deep breath and just notice! Slow down, be still, take notice.
The most important thing as always is the breathing and 2nd in line is back safety. Make sure the core is engaged and the lower back is not arching excessively.
It helps to imagine that the movement is happening in a tunnel. This helps the movement to stay in a straight line, close to the anatomical direction that comes naturally. If the leg extends excessively sideways, different muscles work that what is intended for this exercise.
Make sure your neck is in line with the upper spine in the shoulder region and the chin adequately tucked in to avoid strain on the neck.
It is a nice challenge to not put the leg down between repetitions. You could try bring the knee and nose of the moving leg close together.
