|||HANDSTAND TUTORIAL|||⠀
Ex 1: HIGH PLANK AGAINST THE WALL⠀
-Place hands on the ground and walk the feet up. Be far enough away so that your body is in a plank position⠀
-Stack your shoulders over the wrists and activate your fingers⠀
-Engage your core and press down into the ground⠀
*This exercise will help you develop the shoulder, wrist, and arm strength you need for handstand*⠀
Ex 2: PIKE HANDSTAND⠀
-With your feet on the wall, begin to walk your hands back.⠀
-You want to engage your bandhas here as your hips move over your shoulders and your shoulders stacked over your wrists.⠀
-Press down the ground; really grip your fingers⠀
*This pose is HARD but it will give you more security than practicing free handed handstands because you're on the wall, while still gaining the strength so you can feel more comfortable in a proper handstand*⠀

1. Pre ice bath breathing technique:
Breath in deep & exhale only half way to oxygenate your body as much as possible. Do 30 reps & on the 30th breath exhale & hold breath as long as possible, do 3 intervals.

2. In the ice bath:
Breathe in deep & exhale only half way 5 times. On the 5th, hold breath as long as possible. Focus on the breathing! .

How they’re feeling and what kind of day they’re having greatly determines the kind of workout that would most benefit their nervous systems needs for the day. As we all know, some days are harder then others and if they come in in a sympathetic state, you’ll need to adjust their workout accordingly, focusing on movements or lifting that will help down regulate their nervous system. If they’re feeling great and they’re in a parasympathetic state, then they can lift heavier, and go harder in their workout. Ask the obvious questions ,”How are you feeling?” “How was your day?””How are you sleeping?” Let their answers determine your programming. We have a responsibility to be the best part of their day.
