“You owe it to yourself to become everything you’ve ever dreamed of.” 👏🏻 | Adjusting to my new reality, my new home + a fresh start that has truly felt like a dream come true. If you missed my last post, I recently moved from Southern California to New York City. 🏙 If you know me well, you’d know that this is something I’ve wanted my entire life. Like, I have vivid memories of baby Hayley daydreaming of being a writer, living in the city. 24 years later + here we are. I’m finally here. I’m doing it. ✨ Currently planning different avenues for continual growth, intentional living + challenging myself both personally and professionally. I’d like to think that little Hayley would be proud. 😭💕✨
Please, please, please follow your passion + live the life that sets your soul on fire. Find + do the thing that makes you feel most alive. Even in hard moments, let me tell you, it’s so worth every second. It is freeing, beautiful + transformative. Do it. Your inner child will thank you. 💫
This is how we use to call each other and chat! Wouldn’t trade my childhood for anything. #brooklyngirl

New additions to the old 'hood. I dont live there anymore, but its still exciting to see the changes.
That courtyard was never there. Brooklyn stoops are a real "thing". Schoolyards have been greatly improved with tracks, basketball hoops and landscape. More construction... @ryanserhant
Sorry i missed you. If i move back to brooklyn, I'll need a new opportunity ( #job ). Hope to catch you in the Fall!
Tuesday means therapy in my world. Today my therapist asked me why I do these fitness and nutrition programs and why I coach, why I ask others to do this with me?
Typical me, I cried, and told her it’s because I was so sick of being tired and miserable and this, these groups, these workouts, this nutrition, even the shakes, are what helped me make that change. This is how I started to feel so much better physically and why I feel so much better emotionally. It made me happy and grateful to be alive and excited to get out of bed. How could I not keep going with it? And how could I be selfish and not even offer it to others?? However you feel, you can always level up. You can feel better. I got better by committing. I said yes. Who’s ready to try something to make a change??? Who’s committing with me today?
Drop me a 🙋🏻♀️in the comments or in my DMs and I’ll help you make the change!
Good afternoon 🌞, Insta friends!! How is everyone doing today? I thought today I would share some insights on what my page is all about. As many of you know I am very passionate about environmentally friendly products and more natural living. I try choosing reusable products in my daily life. Not only cloth diapers/wipes for my little ones when they are at that stage of life, but also any and every reusable ♻️ product in my household I can find. The list is long but some examples are unpaper towels, reusable dish cloth, bamboo toothbrushes for the entire family, stainless still water bottles and so many others (which I should list in a separate post). 💚♻️But also another big passion of mine is my city 🌃 of New York!! You will see lots of posts of my family in the streets of New York and hear all about my love for NYC 🗽. Today I wanted to give you a little back story of where this love comes from and why. I first moved to NYC in my early 20’s (long time ago 🙈). I lived in NYC for almost a decade. Then unfortunately I had to relocate down south to New Orleans because of my husband’s job. Right now we are visiting NYC many times per year and currently spent 1.5 months there (hoping we will move back to NY soon). Now all about the reasons WHY NYC is the most amazing city in the entire world 🌎, in my opinion, and why you need to visit it if you haven’t yet. Let’s start with the opportunity factor. The job and any kind of opportunity you can think of are all around you when living in NYC. If you have a passion (no matter what it is) you will find so many soul mates in NY and believe me - the best of the best in each industry go to NY and try to make it to the top. You are given equal opportunity there - you do NOT need to know people in order to make it in NY!! Just work hard and follow your dreams and things will come to you!!! At any given time while living in NY I had a few part time jobs (because I was doing freelance jobs) and also I was able to go to University full time all at the same time. This was my next point. You can get the best education in the world for a very reasonable price!!! Read more in the comments below ⬇️. #brooklynbridge#nycskyline
Last thing to see...Construction zone... This is the apartment I grew up in. 4th/top floor. 2 bedroom/1 bath
Bittersweet memories. What was, was good. What will it be? I'd love to see. Hopefully next time I'll get to see the finished product.
I didn't go in, but it looks like they knocked down the wall to the apartment next door. It will be HUGE!
It used to have great top floor views, to the Verrazano bridge and above all the 2 story houses, but that was pre-building everything up in the area. Now that view is gone.
Bye bye Brooklyn. Until the next time! It's been real.
