➡️➡️➡️ Slowing down and living our best lives in a back yard on a beautiful day somewhere in Arkansas. 🐛 What does your Sunday look like? I hope it’s full of little moments that bring you joy. #boymom#brothers#arkansas
Bringing a new babe into the world of an energetic 4 year old is anything but relaxing! From learning that new level of “quiet” to learning to be gentle with baby brother, this big kid rocked it all! I can tell they’re going to be such great friends as they grow! 💙
We’ve been conditioned to only celebrate the big milestones and achievements, not really acknowledging the little wins and victories. However if you don’t take time to recognize the small victories along the way then it makes it harder to celebrate or even appreciate the larger ones.
Those little wins, no matter how small, are there to keep you motivated in the long-term. Taking the time to enjoy those wins helps to boost your confidence by activating the reward circuitry within your brain. This releases invigorating feel good chemicals like dopamine which fill you with a sense of accomplishment and pride.
Most people are uncomfortable with celebrating their small victories. It may seem trivial to celebrate something as seemingly unimportant as packing a healthy lunch, for instance.
However, you’re not necessarily celebrating the achievement itself; you’re celebrating your habits. You’re celebrating the good behavior and the person you’re becoming. If you don’t pause to appreciate your little victories – if you’re simply rushing from one task to another – then it’s easier to become exhausted and demotivated.
God will renew you! Your old ways?! don’t think about it! What’s happening now and moving forward is what’s important. God provides and he secures. Your heart will follow his voice it will no longer drag itself with fleshly desired feelings. Save yourselves for he is your living God he will do anything even sacrifice his own son to see you reunite with him once again. Encourage one another evangelize, minister, preach, spread ❤️ show the world you aren’t What they make you but what God has ordained you to be✨ Don’t forget Christians will always fall short of the glory of God just know it’s normal to lack or to turn back to your old ways BUT it’s whether you get up and continue to follow him in his righteous ways!
