"must be borne in mind that although there are castes among Non-Hindus, as there are among Hindus, caste
has not the same social significance for Non-Hindus as it has for Hindus. Ask a Mohammedan or a Sikh who he is. He
tells you that he is a Mohammedan or a Sikh, as the case may be. He does not tell you his caste, although he has one; and
you are satisfied with his answer. When he tells you that he is a Muslim, you do not proceed to ask him whether he is a
Shiya or a Suni; Sheikh or Saiyad; Khatik or Pinjari. When he tells you he is a Sikh, you do not ask him whether he
is Jat or Roda, Mazbi or Ramdasi. But you are not satisfied, if a person tells you that he is a Hindu. You feel bound to
inquire into his caste. Why? Because so essential is caste in the case of a Hindu, that without knowing it you do not feel
sure what sort of a being he is."

This is a constant reminder I give myself durring my workouts. In the past I would always be working for a new PR or just to bulk up. Now I have shifted the context of my workouts to become a meditation form. Heres what I do. First off it is a scientific fact that the entire cosmos is just one energy manifesting itself in different forms. To take it even further it is also scientific fact that our bodies are made up of 99.99% space and the actual solid matter of our bodies can fit on the tip of a needle.
With this being said that is the first aspect of the meditation, as I am lifting, sprinting or doing any other movement I am cognizing this fact that my body is 99.99 % space. The next aspect is to conduct this thought, and intention through the spine. Every experience that you feel as a human being in conducted through the spine. In yoga the spine is seen as the axis of the universe. Essentially you only know the universe through the context of your own experience. It is only by whats happening in you do you know what is happening around you. So with this being said keeping your awarness on your spine is the other aspect of the mediation. Now whenever I get disttracted by random thoughts and whatever else I simply unclutch from the thought and return to the meditation. This is also a way of training the mind, and it is also building into the muscle memory to be present in what I am doing.
The name bambu (Swedish for bamboo) is inspired by my teacher #lyndonmason . He believes that keeping the spine balanced, flexible & strong (just like the bamboo tree) is the key to staying healthy & young. #projectbambu
