  • What’s harder... lean bulking or cutting? 🤔

In my opinion, and for me personally... bulking has always been the hardest. Sometimes it’s very difficult to consume your calories in this busy world because you have to remember to EAT — and to eat ENOUGH for your goal. If you aren’t consistent with your calories (even when you’re having amazing gym sessions), you will just most likely remain at maintenance weight with relatively the same amount of muscle 😓

When you’re trying to put on mass, for a lot of us, sometimes 3 round meals a day doesn’t really cut it (depends on person). It may in the beginner or intermediate stage, but once you gain more muscle and your metabolism increases... you’re going to need more calories than you used to in order to put on even more substantial muscle mass.

Having a “lean” bulk approach makes eating more taxing and time consuming (in my opinion), but it is more ideal for your results since you will put on more lean muscle and less fat compared to a “dirty” bulk.

Cutting for me has never been too extreme since I’ve always been relatively lean. Adding more cardio and cleaning up my diet a little has always seemed to be more convenient than trying to bulk. Less thought had to go into eating, for me at least.

Of course if I was going to compete for a bodybuilding show, I’m sure my views would differ 😂 but what’re your guys’ thoughts?

  • doing myself a favour and trying to fit in a bit more cardio in my workouts.🦧
this week i actually enjoyed the 2 sessions i did on my rest days, unexpected lol
AND i went for a walk today and hit my step goal, which hasn't happened in months. so i am basically the epitome of health lmao🥴
when it comes to lifting, you can find me at the squat rack at 6am.
when it comes to cardio, i have to drag my butt over there. 
considering i work an office job and walk 3 steps a day, i should probably do something about this lol

🧠👹 think ab something as small as how your clothes are touching your body all day, yet you stop thinking of it within minutes of putting them on.

this is bc ur brain is CONSTANTLY interpreting signals from the outside world and deciding which is a threat and which isn’t. your clothes touching you isn’t a threat, so that signal is literally just forgotten about. so you’re technically still feeling it, your brain literally just ignored the signal for you

idk about anyone else but that just makes me so in awe and confused bc it’s like WE ARE our brain, yet it can do things without our conscious decision. that’s some real matrix shi to me

sorry to get all deep but i had to share bc i could literally learn and talk about the brain and anatomy for hours😂😂 can anyone else relate or am i just dr. frankenstein at heart 🧟‍♂️

  • Ein kleiner Kalorien-Boost am Morgen.
1 Avocado 
2 Bananen
60 Gramm Beerencocktail 
60 Gramm Mangos
2 Rohe Eier (kann auch rausgelassen werden)
400 ML Mandelmilch oder Hafermilch
Ein Schuss Akazienhonig um das ganze süßlich abzurunden.

Die Avocado bringt uns einige Kalorien und viele gesunde Fettsäuren, während uns die Bananen einige Carbs liefern. Der Beerencocktail und die Mangos sind gut für die Antioxidantien und den Geschmack. Die rohen Eier liefern ein paar Proteine und machen das ganze etwas cremiger. Die Mandelmilch bzw. Hafermilch für die Konsistenz und der Akazienhonig um den Geschmack abzurunden.
Nice to know: Akazienhonig hat einen vergleichsweise niedrigeren Glykämischen Index, weshalb der Insulinspiegel nicht so rapide in die Höhe schnellt.

Fish and lots of greens afterwards. 
I hit Calves yesterday which i'm hitting more frequently than upper leg, i did before hitting back and shoulders.
Today is all about the Thicc Thighs 💦

💥4X good mornings "on your knees" with barbell. 💣Heavier each time, but not to the point of endangering your back/posture/form.....
💥Superset Lying leg curls with  Seated hamstring curls 5X each exercise. Last sets should be really  feeling the hams by now 💣 Heaviest set!....
💥Stiff leg deads using heavy dumbbells and Superset with Leg extensions 4-5X sets each. 
Heaviest on the last set!....
💥4X Stiff leg deads on the cable machine holding a rope. Stretch right out......
💥4X Heavy wide stance squats on cable machine using rope. Squeezing half way for 2 seconds and release back into starting position. 
This had me soaked! 
Its the short rests that make it fun and challenging. Happy Sunday Fit Glamfam. 💥💪😘
