  • "Mate, come a little closer. We need to keep my legs out've frame." 😜😂 5 months into my bulk and I can't grumble about the progress. I totally overhauled my approach to training last month and, as a result, month 5 has given me my strongest gains yet. I'm not sure how it's scientifically possible, but my abs are also making a comeback. My metabolism was getting out've hand with me losing weight on 6,000kcals, so I spent last week in severe calorie restriction to slow things down, which probably explains why I'm looking more shredded than usual. Last 10 weeks of the bulk now, so feeling stoked to meet those shredz' come late spring. Hardest part has been eating ALL-THE-TIME and losing my facial bone structure 😂.

One of those busy days today, one where you only have a set time block to get the workout in otherwise you’ve fu*ked it! ⁣

In my opinion, when I’m crunched on time I like to hit these three exercises as I find them very effective. ⁣

Well apart all those things Im doing it to educate myself. One thing I’ve learned is that feel is not real. Just because you feel like your doing the movement right doesn’t always mean you are. You will be shocked how far off you can be once you see it on camera.

I record my lifts to check a couple things. First my ROM; I like to see if I get the range right for all my movements and repetitions. Secondly I want to check the tempo of the reps, making sure they are not to fast or even slow. -
Consistent reps, sets and movements means its a lot easier to monitor progress because I know I’m keeping a lot go the variables the same.

Try it next time you go for a workout, yes you may look like a douche but it will benefit you more than you know :).

Failure is inevitable, and it’s not a bad thing

If failure didn’t exist, then success would be normal- and hence would lose all value and meaning

Although failure will suck when it happens, it is a necessary evil that allows us to learn and grow to succeed next time, ultimately filling our lives with purpose

Don’t hate failure, learn to love it as it is what causes the grind that makes life worth living

Live in the moment, love the moment, but make sure the moments you live now put you on the right path to living better moments in the future 👁

  • First time doing cleans from blocks, since it's a recovery week perfect time to experiment 🤷‍♀️ I've overheard someone call me an Olympic weightlifter today😁 I haven't really considered myself one, more of a "wannabe" I guess...so hearing it from a stranger was nice😅 other than that I finally managed to gain some weight and non of that is fat😎🏋️‍♀️ so a pretty good day I guess 🙈 #olympiclifting
