Multi-tasking at its finest. 🙌🏼 Murphy loves being held and pretty much all the attention she can get. Sometimes I have to throw her on my hip and keep working...I am a crazy dog lady, and that’s okay. 😂

need help - I need more power! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
For all the diesel heads out there that might be able to help: I have a 2003 model year 230hp DT466E with Allison 3060. Recently rebuilt. I go 12 mph up 8-10% grades and often get stuck on speed bumps or steep driveways after a cold start. (Rig weighs 36k lbs plus a 3.5k lb car towed behind usually) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
what I am looking for: someone that knows exactly how to get my current engine to 300hp+. The dealers are telling me they can only do an electronic (programming) upgrade to 250 Hp. But I’ve heard this engine came in a 300+ hp version but maybe the dealers just can’t get approval from Navistar to upgrade injectors or whatever is needed to get me there. Having a hard time figuring this out and I’ve called like 40 mechanics/dealers now. Does anyone know if there a way to get me to 300hp? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also side note: I tried some injectors (Code bd) and turbo upgrade (H2) from Hypermax. They smoked like a house on fire. Out of control. So I had to swap back to stock...but they did give the power I needed. Check the second photo above. I know theoretically someone can program my ECM probably to cut the smoke down low before the boost...but haven’t found anyone that knows how to do this to my exact model year and also that could be a long back and forth no guarantees. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am really hoping someone can get real detailed and help me! I would be forever grateful. I’m pretty desperate at this point. I really don’t want to have to do an engine swap... also I have a new rear axle, my gvwr chassis wise is all good, just need the HP under the hood to match.

We had another #busbirth here in the #skoolie tonight. Emmi midwifed her cat Venus as she birthed 3 new tiny furry balls of pure love into the world, creating the most peaceful birth space I’ve ever seen a cat birth in with twinkle lights, rain music, and rose quartz. Unfortunately one kitten didn’t make it. We aren’t sure what happened exactly, but we don’t feel the need to know. Em is SO SAD. So sad. But this is a beautiful opportunity to teach the kids how natural birth and death are. We created the most beautiful burial box for the kitten and surrounded her body with wildflowers. Em named her Jonah. We will honor her life tomorrow in ceremony. #fulltimefamily#buslife#catbirth
And sometimes you need to sit on top of a mountain to enjoy the view... 😁🤷♂️
Big shoutout to @tylerjaymiller for bringing @artvangrow@thefrugalrver and myself on the hike up Angels Landing Zion! 👍👍
Hot off the Editior and on the TUBE!! As you know we just installed Propane 2.0 The old propane install was going to cause us problems and we knew it immediately when we did the install. We felt that we bought the propane tank and made it fit and that just wasn't good enough for what we are trying to do. Propane 2.0 is a year later from the original install and it is exactly what we wanted. Watch the video and give us a sub while you are there!
Got half of my curtains up today! Even did some fancy lil leaf stitches along the outside edges! I'd say my first experience with sewing went pretty well and I found that I enjoyed it for the most part! The colors are a little off in this photo, but everything's really starting to tie together!! #skoolie#skoolieconversion#skoolielife#buslife

This drawer is one of my favourite things in our kitchen, it might seem like overkill for such a tiny space but I really felt like sorting our waste and doing our part for the environment is important no matter where we live!
There's even a sneaky space at the back for the reusable shopping bags I try my best not to forget to take to the grocery store 😂
Well... the water system pressure test didn't exactly go as we had hoped but that's why we test it before we close everything up right?
And of course it was Easter so we couldn't get the spare parts we needed right away.... On the bright side we're always learning from our mistakes and it should be an easy fix. The plastic uponor pex fittings are difficult to reuse - You have to be extremely careful when cutting them out of the pex tubing if you make a mistake, any little nick you make on them seems to cause leaks... lesson learned
