You make plans and life laughs🤭
Finish travelling the east coast of Australia and then get back to working in Sydney. That was the plan....yeah it didn't quite happen that way🙆🏽♂️🤷🏻♀️ Due to restrictions on Visas we found it difficult to pick up a job again after our travels. It was getting frustrating and we didn't know whether we were staying in Australia or going.
So we thought f*ck it. Let's go to Thailand and if no one gets back to us (after sending countless emails and CVs) at least we'll have a nice holiday before going back to England.
Being in Thailand 2 weeks, we accepted that we were probably going home...Until a random email came in my (Woody) inbox.
Turns out the company I first worked for back in 2018 desperately needed someone and I just so happened to be available. Kerrie now also has a job working for the same company she did back in 2018.
So we're here in Sydney for at least another few months working and travelling! 👌🏽✌🏻 Funny how things turn out isn't it.....Life is a bag of laughs sometimes 😅
Matt talking about a common misconception - he's had many client's come in to see him saying that they're 'broken' and they need 'fixing'; some of them think this freely of themselves and some have been told this by someone else.

Do you know the difference between good social media and great social media?
👉 Good social media gets the double tap. Great social media gets a comment
👉 Good social media gets an emoji 💣 Great social media starts conversations, draws people to DM and build a real relationship with you
👉 Good social media gets a share or a re post. Great social media drives action, like a sign up to your email list or a purchase on your website
👉 Good social media is a temporary distraction. Great social media is memorable, creates impact, drives action, converts, uplifts, connects and starts ripples that turn into waves 🌊
Davies creek adventure!! Solace in nature!! As much footage that i take know there are hours of mindful contemplation and fluid relaxation. I post the beauty that is natural to inspire to one, keep it that way and two to remember to stop and take it in. We often get swept up in the race, to realise there was no race, so in the end we have only beaten ourselves, out of the experience that is life!! It’s not about the destination!!!!SLOW DOWN, observe, question, think ........ enjoy 😉

What a weekend this Strong Mumma just had!! 😍
In only her 2nd Comp and barely 6 months apart, Mel’s strength gains have been phenomenal.
New squat PB of 17.5kg
New Bench PB of 5kg
New Deadlift PB of 10kg
A 32.5kg increase in her total in less than 6 months!! Oh and of course a Gold Medal! 🥇
This is 100% testament to Mel’s dedication, motivation and no excuses attitude to achieving her goals.
Mel put a ridiculous amount of work into achieving what she just did.
And she achieved all of this while still being a loving wife, mother of a full throttle 3 year old, working full time in HR, AND running her own business.
Today, we found our wand so to speak, we bought a genuine Didgeridoo from #indigenousartisan in #cairns . Tomorrow it will be sent to a local #aboriginalcommunity to be hand painted with traditional #aboriginalart . We have chosen green with turtles and other sea life as a design. Once finished, it is being shipped home back to sunny Manchester. I can’t wait to see it when we arrive back.
Be the good.
Believe there is good in the world.
Look for the positive.
To believe we must have hope.
Hope is learned.
Hope is a function of struggle. .
According to positive psychologist C.R. Snyder, children with high levels of hopefulness have experience with adversity. They’ve been given the opportunity to struggle and in doing that they learn how to believe in themselves. .
Growing up in the Northern Territory I’m ‘Territory Tough’. I worked hard from an early age in my parents business... I didn’t always succeed the first time, but I learnt. I’ve learnt to problem solve. I’ve learnt to ask for help. I’ve learnt to believe in myself. .
Snyder states that hope isn’t an emotion; it’s a way of thinking or a cognitive process. Hope is a combination of setting goals, having the tenacity and perseverance to pursue them, and believing in our own abilities. .
I hope that I will have an opportunity to represent you - the residents of Division 5. I’ve set goals to achieve this, such as connect with you, listen to your ideas + concerns. I have a roll up the sleeve approach to getting things done + have already been actioning your concerns (such as reporting maintenance issues). I have drive, determination + a cheer squad of support to pursue my goals. I believe I can be your voice + advocate your interests. I believe I can provide you an opportunity to feel involved, connected + believed.
