Did you know that even though cherry blossom season can last for a month, from the time the first to the last tree blooms, each individual tree may only flower for about a week? So, if you see one today, make the most of it and savour its blooms.💖

  • Apartment or House

In our first post, we thought we would ask a simple question.
Would you prefer the convenience of an apartment or the space and garden of a house?

  • 💗This is what it's about for me.

The reason why I chose my job In the hair industry over 29 years ago was to make women feel special and I loved doing hair.
I remember at the time I left school to follow my passion and dreams that the teacher told me I was too smart to be a hairdresser. He was wrong because I was smart enough to follow what I loved and wanted to do with my life. So I smiled and left school to follow my choice in life with my parent's love, blessing and full support.
My purpose in life was what I chose and that was uplifting and making women feel special. I still love my job, I absolutely made the right decision for me in my life. These days it involves a lot less hair as it gets taxing on the body as you get older. But I can still help by making women feel special with your boxes of products and haircare advice.
Follow your heart and your dreams always. I followed mine and it lead me to where I am today. Happy.
I absolutely love all the feedback I have been getting of late both published reviews or the private messages you have all sent. Thank you to all my beautiful customers that take time out of their day to do this.
Have an amazing day.

  • Two of the best. The crunch of pork katsu with fresh carrots, cucumber and the creamy/chilli hit of kewpie mayo on a pillowy soft white bun. It is almost physically impossible to just have one, so we serve them as twins save needless embarrassment.

  • Never held a crochet hook before? 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ Then we have the PERFECT WORKSHOP for you next Saturday at a STUNNING JERVIS BAY VENUE! 🌊🌊🌊 Get away from it all at the stunning Bay & Bush Cottages, a brand new retreat in the bush at Woollamia, a stone's throw from Huskisson! 🌲🦔🌿 In this workshop you will learn the most commonly used stitches to get you started in crochet. Expert Crocheter Deanne Ramsay from @addydae_designs will show you the basics of working crochet in rows, starting with the simplest stitch and progressing to more challenging stitches as your confidence grows. 👏👏👏 You will learn: • How to chain (you can’t hook before you can chain!)
• Basic crochet stitch anatomy
• Deanne's tried and tested method for working into a starting chain
• The difference between US and UK terminology
• How to secure your work (fasten) and join a new colour (for striping) • How to weave in ends ✍🏽✍🏽✍🏽 By the end of the class you will have a stitch-sampler square that you can use to make a patchwork blanket, a hotpad, or even a scarf. Once you know what you're doing, the opportunities are endless! Deanne will also provide lots a take home handout with links so you can continue your crochet fun long after the class is over. 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼 Tix and Special Offer on now:
