After you read my chocolatey words of wisdom below, SWIPE LEFT ⏪for a full Panoramic photograph from this mornings Sunrise over Sydney ⏪.
I realised something this morning and I’m sure most people would agree - that when your alarm goes off in the morning to get up for work or something you don’t enjoy doing, you generally hit snooze, once, twice or thrice. However, when you have something really exciting to wake up to, you generally can’t sleep the night before and you tend to beat your own alarm!! This morning my alarm was set at 5am to get up and meet the sun and photograph it, which is something I thoroughly enjoy and planned carefully for this morning. I’m sure this goes for any person who is passionate about something which creates enjoyment and pleasure whether it be photography, sport or just walking their dog.
So, surprise surprise, the snooze button got pushed aside this morning and I was in the car at 5:05am, and boy I was GLAD!! I arrived at my planned location an hour before scheduled sunrise and look what happened, The sky was on fire well before anyone would expect! By the time actual sunrise came, the sky turned bleak and grey. As a keen amateur photographer, you rely on knowledge and experience from others and this tip was something @dannystonephotography shared a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for sharing mate, it helped me achieve a set of photos I am extremely proud of! The lesson for me: plan ahead and arrive early, you never know what will happen and keep waking up for the things you enjoy! 🐺

No visit to Coffs Harbour is complete without a stop at the Muttonbird Island Nature Reserve. Also known as Giidany Miirlarl, this seabird rookery is enveloped by spectacular views of the Coffs Marina and rugged shorelines of the pacific coast. By the way, I hope you all have had a great Easter Monday! 🏔

I've really been enjoying flying my drone in Australia, its always so rewarding bringing a new perspective to a location, whatever it may be. And what a better way to see Australia's beautiful and vibrant coastline than from the air? I just love the transition on colours, tones and textures. There will be plenty more drone shots coming soon. So enjoy ✌🏻 💚
